    Hello everyone,

Number 26 checking in for Feb. My OP for Feb was 1180.17 :j

March my regular saver will mature and I'll be able to OP a big chunk. I'm so looking forward for that.

    Good progress everyone!!!

:cool:I can't abide real life getting in the way of my op plans :(.

Last week I had a sizzling electic socket, and have managed to cobble together the unexpected and unbudgeted for 40 odd bill payment without inpacting my overpayments. That's the good news :D

The bad news is that the socket proved to be wet , so I now need the damp proofing company out to investigate whether the damp proof course has been bridged. They are "demanding" £60 payment up front, which will be refunded should the problem be proven to be covered by the guarantee. I don't have £60 sitting spare, so I've had to transfer £60 from this month's op saving :(

I hate upheaval in the house, yet find myself in the strange position of hoping that the problem is that I need the damp proof course redone, just to get my £60 back....:D
....of course, if it is something else causing the problem, then that is going to impact my abiity to op. Ah well, will cross that bridge when I get to it. :o

So, sorry Spigs, and the MFW team, I'm going to have to reduce our ops by £60...so that means that I will have an op of £595 again this month (for now anyway). I'll amend my siggy now. If I get it refunded, it'll be back in the op pot.:T

Best laid plans and all that :(.

Still, on the plus side, I get my new company car on Thursday, which will increase my monthly income, reduce my tax, and be more fuel efficient. So, I'm hoping to be increasing my ops in future. :T

Off to start the spring cleaning now

  • Hi everyone

I made another £150 overpayment today (#112). I'm struggling a bit with these challenges but hopefully soon will be feeling the benefits of cutting my home and contents insurance by more than half this month, taking £5 off my mobile a month and £8 off my broadband :)

Good luck with your over paying endeavours this month

    Hello everyone,

Had a busy morning so sorry for the delay in updating.

MsWow your brilliant OP is now listed and pushes the total amount OPd by us all so far over the £200k barrier.:j:D

Oh LavenderBees that sounds like a nightmare, I hope you get the outcome that you want and quickly. I've amended for you and its not a problem at all. :)

Pammyj your great OP is now listed on the spreadsheet, keep up the excellent work. ;)

LittlestFlower your OP is on the list. Those are really good savings you've made, well done. :money:

    See you all later,

    £280.60 was Feb's total.

My quidco payout came a day too late, so that £27.73 has gone towards March. Currently OP'd £593.93 of £1500 target or 39.6% Council tax payments kick in again this month which means that OPs are going to drop unless I can be very cunning with the figures.
