Hi, Happy New Year and Welcome fluffysox!

All the best,

Thanks Spigs!
Just updated on 2011 thread. Copy here as it sums up where we're at:
Sorry I'm late updating been busy with baby
Done a couple of updates on googledocs but not sure if they'll get added now so I'll write it here too.
Target for 2011: £1200
OP Total for 2011: £2635.27.
Not bad since I've been on maternity leave since Spring, had lots of work done on the house earlier in the year and we've had a couple of holidays (not abroad but we had a great time).
Negative is we drew down some money from OP reserve to help buy a car (but this was an essential purchase for OH's new job) so our mortgage has only reduced by £2070.01.
Still its better than having a car loan or finance and really I'm just happy we haven't had to take a baby break from the mortgage payments. Thought we'd have to do this for the last few months of my mat leave but we've been OK.
Happy New Year! Hope 2012 is a good one with lots of OPs for you all :T2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013
MFW OPd 2014 £2000 2013 £9700 2012 £2848.39 2011 £2509.58 2010 £11000 2009 £112002008 £49390 -
Thanks Dark Knight - Spreadsheet updated and your total OP for Jan so far is £200
Fluffysox - updated the 2011 spreadsheet. Amazing achievement given everything you had going on. Well done!0 -
Have set myself another highly (see: deluded) optimistic target this year of £12,000 - I'm going to have to save like crazy but am hoping to squeeze a cheap holiday in there somewhere too.
Luckily to get me started I've been saving for a rainy day that (fortunately!) is yet to come, so have kicked things off with a £3k over-payment. Such a nice feeling to be putting money towards the mortgage again
Thank you so much for your hard work in putting the lists and spreadsheet together, it really is appreciated.0 -
Welcome to blizeH, new 2012 MFW No. 130 with a target of £12000. You have been added to the list (excellent start with an OP for Jan of £3000) and we look forward to seeing your updates0

Thank you! :-)
Can I just say a quick congrats to TwinnyD, with a mighty impressive 78% paid off already! At first glance I assumed the target was maybe a couple of hundred pounds or so, having paid off that much already... alas nope, over £12k! Pretty astounding tbh.0 -
Payment of £108.17 from a paypal refund and a shirt I took back to debenhams, having found it cheaper online0

Wohoo. Just looked on my paypal account and have £84 from eBay sales!
Have transfered £50 into my account which I shall put towards OPs when it arrives!
Will put in siggy when the money is there!
(Will also transfer the rest when my other eBay auctions have ended)0 -
Updated for you Barny1979,
Every little helps!
