I managed to find a little bit more money so another overpayment made today of £450.

Mortgage now stands at £8718.38 ...and counting down :)

My mortgage is my only debt...no credit cards and my car is paid for so as soon as this is done I'll be totally debt free and planning to start the mega save to retire before I'm 65..or 66...or whatever the age will be by the time I get there!
  • Wow Starflame - with a total OP of £4000 this month that mortgage balance will be zero in just a couple of months!
Union Girl - well done on your first OP of the year of £83 (updated from google docs)!

Not at all catslovelycats - sad obsessed MFW no 96 here reporting another £100 paid off - so much looking at spreadsheets and pondering "if I just pay that there then that money comes here etc, etc..."
    Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000
    Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

    Mortgage balance: £36,255

    Money making challenge £0/400

I'm hoping to add a bigger OP at the end of the month, so adding money that I wouldn't normally of had until then, eg eBay sales. This will be the same most months :)
    Forever house mortgage @ 2.59% July 15 £328,117.02 / May 2019 £278,651.21 OP's £13,500.68

No, I'm becoming exactly the same - transfer this 2p here and that 5p there, shave a bit off here, a bit off there. Only need to eat once a week surely instead of three times as I do now...etc etc! :rotfl:

I can't wait to be free of the mortgage so I can get a life again outside of my spreadsheets/notes :rotfl:

    Good luck!

    xx
