Am I the only one who looks forward to payday because then I can OP a bit more!!!???? :A:D Forget the fact it also gives me money for food, bills etc!:rotfl:

i sit and count down the days... i have managed to string my enjoyment out a bit as well ... hubby gets paid on the 15th of every month so an op gets paid then ... then i have a monthly payment that comes out on the 17th so i get a second wee exciting day ... then i get paid the second last working day of every month ... taking my total to 3 in a month ... not much each time (sadly) but it beings my total down every month :)

then when i see the visa etc slowly going i think ooooo maybe we might actually manage a holiday or something ... head fantasoes can be so much fun :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::beer:

I wish I could string it out too! Unfortunately my lender will only allow me to overpay by sending in cheques by post and the minimum payment is £500:eek: I am just not organised enough (nor do I have enough money) to do this more than once a month :( Still I love getting those letters confirming that they have received my OP and the monthly payment is reduced. Got one today and my monthly payment has gone down another £20 this month :j

Just updated the sheet with our £200 OP. Lower this month than usual but still it all helps. I'm also one who gets excited when OPs can be made.

    See you all this evening,

    Hello all, Happy New Year!

Originalmiscellany could you please add me to the list for 2012 challenge. I'll set a target of £2000 again for now. Difficult to set target at present as I'm still on maternity leave and I've asked for reduced hours when I go back. So I may alter my target when I find out what my takehome pay is and how much I end up spending on childcare etc.
I was number 52 on 2011 challenge but don't mind having a new number if needed.

    Thanks.
2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.
    MFW OPd 2014 £2000 2013 £9700 2012 £2848.39 2011 £2509.58 2010 £11000 2009 £112002008 £4939 :D
Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013 :)
