Hello folks, no 67 here (Mortgagefreeby50)

I have been very lax since March as I have been mainly distracted by being preggers and hanging around far too much on BabyCentre!
Seeing as I am winding down work ready for mat leave I will be focusing a lot more on my MFW challenge. I have posted several updates, which along with the end of August should bring me up to date. I have £1024 to find before new year, which is only about £85 a month once my standing order has come out. It's definitely doable!
Apologies for being so rubbish but it's good to see so many people have kept going and are doing so well!
Slow progress is better than no progress.

    Hello everyone,

All updated for you skint_spice, nice OP.

Thank you for updating Mortgagefreeby50, your excuse is duly noted and allowed!!! Seriously though, brilliant OPs and now all updated for you. Target also changed as requested.

Also on the googledoc, an excellent extra OP wonderbee, you are way ahead of target, well done.

I may not now reach my target for the year as we've decided that as our boiler is now falling apart on the outside as well as being hugely temperamental on the inside, we're going to replace before winter kicks in. Awaiting quotes at the moment and the only way I can snesibly fund it is to reduce my reg savings and hold them back to pay for the installation. Hopefully, this will mean that I won't have yet another cold Christmas as we have done for the past few years. You wouldn't think a boiler would know but ours does!!!

    See you all later,
    Spigs

Didn't manage an OP for July as predicted but now I am back at work (although taking some of my accrued annual leave :o)

As we have managed to live on the DHs pay relatively comfortably most of my pay is going to be used to help our MF mission. So as of August we will be OPing £62.25 (standing order already set up) to take the mortgage payment to a nice round £500 per month.

Will also be adding to the saving account when possible (our 'offset' savings account) and planning some other regular savings :)

At least there is a silver lining to going back to work :rotfl:

Hiya all MFW's, hope you are all doing well. I did another OP today of £100 for August. If that could be added to the spreadsheet i'd be grateful:)
