    Hello all

Not kept up with this thread - sorry. All work and no play recently :(

Hope everyone is doing well and keeping up the good work

My mortgage OP'ing plan is now taking a back seat as I save up for a Wedding (mine). I never thought I would find myself in the position of uttering those words - but there you go :rotfl:. I can either save up or OP. Although I don't want a big do and a big dress, I don't want to get to the day (whenever it is) and think 'I should have done X.....'. So in the meantime I am saving what I can to pay for what I want/can afford. Wedding date - sometime next year I think but no particular rush. Of course the OH will be doing some saving too but saving is as easy as breathing for him

So this month the grand total of £6 has been OP'd against my mortgage bringing my value to £25766

In future months I will still be officially OP'ing but these amounts aren't really OP's - they are the difference between what my Standard OP should be had I not been OPing and had it not been reduced and what my Standard OP officially is - about £106 per month.

How do I feel about the impact on my mortgage life? Pretty naffed off...........but you can't spend (save) the same £1 twice!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
