  • So glad he is making you happy Muffin. Seems as though he has genuine feelings, otherwise I doubt he would be bothering to change your mind.

a 3 day working week is a good balance, I worked 3 days when I went back after maternity, they flew by so fast!

My ebaying is ok, all but 2 of my items have bids on, the 2 that dont have a fair few watchers, so maybe somthing will come of them!

Thanks again DF. I'm getting the impression that he does have genuine feelings although I still have a few issues in my head I need to deal with regarding he and I.

I do have a dream of just working 3 days for the set and stable income, as much as possible in this economy anyway. But I do think that dream is a little way off yet.

I hope you get a good outcome from all of your listings. I am surprised at how many things sell at the last minute with no watchers so hopefully your no bid items with lots of watchers will suddenly fire up nearer the listing end time.

Quite a busy couple of days really. Firstly, my biggest achievement :D. One of the guys I work closely with told me his mortgage fixed rate was coming to an end and did I have any advice for him. To cut a long story short he's now moved from a 23 year term to a 10 year term. He's obviously aware of the higher payments each month which was part of our chat, but he also knows that when that fixed rate ends he can choose a mortgage based on a different term if he wants to reduce the monthly payments. But with a much reduced mortgage outstanding amount. Then he mentioned changing bank accounts and I told him to look into the cashback ones, which he's now opened! Kerching! :D I'm so pleased that I have this sort of knowledge now to help. I didn't tell him what he should do, just what he can or should consider.

Yesterday we had work drinks in the evening. That was ok, but I'd arranged to meet with A afterwards so left a bit early to see him. We also went for a drink and I ended up having quite a bit to drink! :o But it was a really nice evening and I was still within acceptable limits I think (for talking and making sense). A and I didn't really discuss anything about "us" as such while we were out but it was like we were together in how affectionate we are with each other! He phoned me when I got home so I brought up the subject which we discussed for a bit but I need to see body language and face to face so we're having a coffee tonight to clear the air. I do drag this out, don't I??? :o:o

I didn't need to buy drinks during the work thing as they were laid on. Then A set up a tab at the bar we were in and so I spent no money there. I ended up missing the last bus home though and had to get a cab, which was £25 but I've had enough NSD's so far to absorb that. Although the cab fare should have been avoided, I did do all I could to get the cheapest journey home. I just hadn't noted last bus times. So I'm a bit miffed that I didn't put enough forethought into it, but I'm glad that I hadn't decided in London to take the easy route of a cab all the way home! Eek! I had a great journey home though. Travelling alone at night usually scares me, but 3 young lads sat with me on the train who seemed really unassuming and we all got chatting about general life, music and comedy which was a fun train ride. Then the cab driver from the station home was on meths or some kind of high as he was so flattering and showering me with compliments all the way home. It was a black cab I got, not a random driver by so I felt more reassured in that, although I know nothing is 100% safe. I figured he was hoping for a decent tip, but he tried to discount my cab fare. He didn't ask for my number so no attempt at gaining anything from me at all. Just a genuinely sweet man I think. He even checked I got in ok before driving off. Sometimes you just feel in the zone! :D

I've also had the cheek to wake up without a hangover or any negative repercussions from too much alcohol and 3 hours sleep! Although cycling is out of the question, I'm feeling pretty good considering! I rarely drink but when I do it's unlikely I'll get a hangover and today was no exception. All the guys at the work drinks are worse for wear, as is A!!!! :p

Plans for the weekend are fairly frugal. I'm having coffee with a tonight which I need to pay for based on him getting the drinks last night. Then it's home and an early night I think. Tomorrow I'm driving over to A in the morning and spending a bit of time over there. I don't want it to be a full day so I'll come home early afternoon. I need to find a £ shop somewhere for more bubble envelopes so I can add more things online. Sunday is currently clear so I'll either take my Mum out for lunch/a bit of Sunday shopping for her, or I'll try to be productive at home. I think that will be weather and energy dependant.

Phew! A bit of a hefty update. I'll sign off now.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. x

    Hey Muffy,

I'm sorry I haven't been around for a while :o I am just catching up with everyone and you are doing so well. I just get the impression that everything is going your way at the moment and I am delighted for you :T

A sounds like a good bloke and he must be keen to stick around, go with the flow Missus Muffy and just let it happen. :)

Your ebaying puts me to shame, I can't remember the last time I even logged into ebay never mind listed anything :o Can you pass some of your abundance of energy on to me please? I have got so lazy lately :o

I will try to keep up with your news from now on, good things seem to be happening for you everyday :j Have a great day today x x :)

    Thanks DF,
The coffee date did go well. He really was looking worse for wear though so I'm not sure he just agreed with everything I said to shut me up! :o:D
How are things going with you? Have you had a good half term week? x

    Hi Freeby,
I've just caught up with your diary and can completely understand why you've not had a chance to keep posting. I hope things feel calmer now.

A is pretty good. I think we're both in the same place now, and hopefully I'll have no more neurotic fits on him! He does deal with it well though! x

Well the weekend has flown by yet again but has been a really nice one. I met A for a coffee after work and had to insist on paying after all he'd spent Thursday evening. So my head is settled again, and I think it will continue to be now too as his need to point out attractive women is the only thing that sets my head off in a spin. Because I don't show that this bothers me, he never knew to stop!

I did also get a telling off for not talking to him about my worries but just telling him out of the blue that we need to pull things back! :o That was very bad of me.

Yesterday morning I got up early and drove over to his. It's easier for me to go and see him at the moment. We had such a great time. I left around 3pm feeling very comfortable with everything.

Today has been a bad day. I've just lost all energy and haven't been nearly as productive as I'd have liked. My energy levels are starting to increase now though and so there's still plenty of time to catch up on myself. I have done 2 loads of washing, added 5 more things onto eBay, shop and scanned, been to do grocery shopping and caught up on diaries (does the latter include being productive?). But I need to clean the kitchen and bathroom and dust & hoover through the house. 4u2ap3b.gif

I've also had more thoughts about my own personal Mortgage paying challenge. I'd like to get that started sooner rather than later so I want to write up a productive plan to get me moving to a target. I have decided to go severe on paying the mortgage for a year and see how much I can get it down to. I'm quite looking forward to that starting. I'll explain more once I've paid off the default debt. I can't start the severe plan until January either, but we all know how fast that will come around, particularly considering that this year his half way through.

The weather is meant to be quite rainy again this week, but unless there's high winds I'll still be cycling. If I know it's going to rain I can dress accordingly.

This week is quite uneventful, which I'm looking forward to. A few NSD's would be great and uneventful weeks make those so much easier.

Well, I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. x

Something is smiling down on me today. Initially I was going to have to work until around 7pm, after starting at 8am, but that's been rearranged now so I can leave my usual time. I'm still feeling low in energy and generally out of sorts which I think is possibly due to a fall I had on Saturday morning. I am very clumsy and tend to fall over a lot, and although I didn't do myself any damage (I think that as I'm so used to falling I've set up a sort of stunt like ability to fall with the least problems) I did really shake my head and neck about. My neck is a bit jarred and I feel quite low in energy and a bit docile. But now I can get an early night in which will help. I've offered to pop into my Mum and give another ebay training session first, but that shouldn't take too long.

I've posted off a few things that sold on friday and over the weekend, so that's a bit more unexpected income top up. I'd like to add a few things each evening again as I have so much to get rid of and still loads more to sift out. But I want to get the current stuff clear as it's overflowing right now.

I put some things on yesterday and one of them has a bid now. Hopefully the rest of the stuff will sell too.

A boot sale is urgently needed and I have put aside this Saturday but the weather just hasn't been particularly kind. I've still not managed a boot sale this year!!!! I'll keep saturday aside though in the hope that the sun will make some sort of appearance this week.

Tonight I need to print off my banking statement to update that and then I'm back on track and informed. My HSBC app is great though as I can keep an eye on my balance and get a mini statement. I just like to have that running tally of my own.

Nothing else to report on today. I do need some food now though, so will go and get that while reading through some diaries. x

    Morning Muffy :)

I am sorry to read that you aren't feeling so great at the moment :( Take some time for yourself, it is much deserved. You seem to spend most of your time like a whirlwind. I hope you got a good nights rest last night :)

Inspired by you I searched around the house for things to ebay but I haven't got very much so I decided that I would start saving things now to have a ebay fest at the back end of the year to help pay for Christmas. It worked last year so I'm hoping for the same. I shall come to you for all the ebay tips :D

Have a great day today and remember to be kind to yourself :A
