Hey Muffy,
I check my bank balance every morning. It's the first thing I do when I get upNow that I am in my MSE frame of mind I like to know exactly what's happening and tally it to my spreadsheets. Before I started this I would have avoided looking at all costs and logged in occasionally with my hands over my eyes
The bloke thing???? Just take it a day at a time. Just because you've noticed a slight change in him doesn't mean you have to change towards him too. Just be your usual self and he's bound to think you're greatFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -

Or he could be interested but be freaking out now he knows how you feel.
Im insanely shy when it comes to the start of relationships, but Im ok at the flirty stage before anything kicks off. Ive been told before they thought I suddenly turned quite cold before eventually letting my guard down. In reality it was me not knowing what to say, being scared of saying the wrong thing and just generally thinking about things way too much.
I understand re checking bank balance, I do daily too, not because I dont trust my workings out, but I cant control 3rd party or Bank mistakes. Ive had bills go out early, money due in late the slightest error causes chaos in my mind so I like to know where I am.
I can feel the energy coming from your post, its brilliant, make the most of it! You will sleep well tonight!

I am back to checking my balance, and happily logged on again this morning and all is well in Tops Bank! I didn't leave my normal £20 buffer in there either this month which is playing havoc with my OCD tendencies.
My energy didn't disappear for hours yesterday. It's like a form of self torture feeling that need to run around constantly. I did get loads done though, so am organised enough that if I frazzle out early today I can get an early night in. x0 -
I think checking your bank balance once a day is okay and could well be what financially savvy people do - I wouldn't know.
Well, I'm glad your evening went well. Not sure what to make of the change in attitude though, DF2015 could be right. I suppose time will tell.
Loving the new scenery popping up all over the place! It's like daffodils, you know. It goes dormant for a while then suddenly reappears and is very noticeable.
It's like the sun brings out the nice things around, isn't it? I may take a little pre/half-dinner with me if this weather holds out and sit and have a break. Or just a nice cold drink! Ooh what wonderful ideas you've given me. Thank you.0 -

Well, it's so reassuring to hear what other people do regarding balances. You all make me feel very normal.
Thanks Freeby about the bloke thing advice. Your advice is tip top too in that remaining consistent is always the best thing to do. That advice works in all situations too! Thank youx

Well, a fairly uneventful week money-wise, which is great. Although I do still feel anxious that I've still not got it quite right and money will wander out of my account with no regard to my spreadsheet and app figures! This morning's check stated that I have the amount in there that I agree with but that the available balance is £1 less. Not a clue what that's about but tomorrow will tell. There's also one last bill listed on my pending transactions which I'm also aware of so I should relax, but I won't until friday when I get paid. I don't think playing it close to the wire works for me! I need that little buffer I ususally leave in there as the slightest mistake could cost me £25 minimum!
My unexpected income account got a boost yesterday. I had £15 paypal voucher earned in one of my voucher sites and that was paid to me yesterday and whizzed straight off to my Unexpected account. It's great having paypal on an app because as soon as they tell me I have funds then off it goes to it's rightful place. I think this month I managed to accummulate nearly £200 purely on internet selling and survey sites. I also have $10 in there from another site so I'll need to exchange that for £'s and pay that across too.
OK, regarding the man at work, it's sort of sorted. We had a talk about things yesterday and I think I've come to the conclusion that I'm desperately trying to grip onto control of something that can't and really shouldn't be controlled. He asked if we could meet up last night but I had plans so we're having lunch today and then I think we're out on friday! Eek! Breathe and relax! I hate all this, I honestly do. But I need to stick with it and just go with the flow and he's a good person to practice that with as he ignores my neurotic behaviour and doesn't clam up on me during conversations either so I feel I can say what I want to without any issues too. That's rare for me. I think my directness can be quite scary/intimidating/irritating for a lot of men. So, no more over analysing from me! Ha Ha! We'll see! I will work hard on it though.:o
Thank you for the comments that helped me get to this stage though. The support on here is second to none and I honestly can't tell you how much that support really does mean to me. :blushing:

Oh Wow!!! Thats brilliant!
So sounds like it was just an excuse to see you, maybe he clammed up this time which is why he only asked for his things? Or maybe he really did need them.
I was thinking about that last night, if he didnt want to see you, he would have just emailed and asked you to leave them on his desk when you get a chance etc.
Enjoy lunch, have fun xx40 to go0 -
Hey
I check my balance once a day too, I feel totally obsessive about it but that keeps me happy that I'm in control. Do whatever you have to do to feel comfortable with the balance that's yours.
