  • My husband went through all of this last year. They advertised job vacancies in our town but he had to go to a town 30 miles away for the interview. They offered him the job and then that was all he ever heard from them. He went into the local sorting office and was told they knew nothing about it but as far as they knew there were no vacanies in the local sorting office. A year later they have never rang him to do any actual work. They just keep emailling him every few weeks to see if he still wants to be on their list.

  • Actually there really is a serious issue here with Royal Mail this Christmas and people are being turned away for jobs they had been banking on for some work. Please don't make light of it!

If anyone wants to check out a proper adult forum on the issue go to http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/angard-staffing.html and leave the immature trolls to themselves.

There really is massive problems for the Christmas casuals, feel so sorry for all of them. The elation of finding a job, even though it's temp, just to be kicked in the teeth over and over again. RM is notorious for being terrible in communications, seems their baby brother in Angard is just as bad.
