  • Hi duchy
Just to let you know my son is at the Post Office sorting depot now
Turned up at 5:55am and joined 7 other people in collection room all also confused
First one PO person come in mumbled something and left
Then other entered with paperwork in his hand looked around and left
Then finally someone with a high viz jacket with manager written on his back took them all to a room(me in tow) and asked them to tick their names on the list he had
8 new workers round a table 3 ticks great(my son not one of them)
I left him there being assured that it would be sorted
On my way back to the car i rounded up 2 other strays so took them to meet the herd
    Waiting to a phone call
    Organisation????

You've kind of missed the point.
The issue discussed here isn't to do with the shift managers in the sorting offices but don't let that stop you -we all have our hobby-horses :)

In that case, continue on your merry way to your RM depot on Monday night as expected.

Find out for yourself if shift managers have nothing to do with your conundrum.

As I said, it's been a total shambles this year. Have never seen it like that in the past. But for a communications company, RM are really pants at communication. General advice seems to be if you've got a start date, turn up with your letter at hope for the best. Can imagine christmas being another shambles in RM like it was last year, but they had the snow to blame for that.:rotfl:

Good luck to all you going to do this thankless job this year. On a lower rate of pay I may add. Feel sorry for you guys and the messing about you've had, I really do :(

  • Hi All
My son has completed his induction + first shift
They gave him a number for Angard 08454607318 (tried it before waste of time but dont let me put you off)
They also gave him the mobile telephone numbers for All Angard Regional Co-ordinators which are secret
Lets see if he gets paid
    stroll on next Sunday
  • Remember everyone, RMG uses Angard because RMG owns Angard 100%, common directors, registered company address etc. Angard has issued 1 (one) share, guess who owns it ?

Angard is RMG, RMG is Angard.

Really need to ask the question do they really care, based on my experience - No they don't, hence the pay rates etc.

Is it that Angard are completely incompetent or just overwhelmed?, either way at the end of the day RMG has the final responsibility.

It is RMG's job to manage Angard.

This is not the first time "Xmas rush" has happened, they should have been better prepared.
