Afternoon all
I don't think there is a big enough smilie for me to show how delighted I am to get my assignments finished:D:rotfl::D. I also finished the Minutes of my meeting so I am now free.
I had planned on tidying up my room using the Kon Marie method but I will leave that until tomorrow. I just want to relax. I made it to circuits this morning as my butt was getting a bit numb from sitting around so much. I put a wash out on the line and another one is on the go but it is now bucketing with rain:(.
I have the budgets ready for March and I had £20 left over in my everything budget in Feb but now I say that it could be spent tonight. My gifts budget is still a wee bit high as I have 3 family birthdays and another baby present to buy.

Hi all
The last bin bag of the day has been dragged to recycling:). I decided to clear out my room, the spare room and the cloakroom using the principles of Kon Marie. I cannot believe how much will be going on ebay and how much I took to the skip & charity this evening.
I still could get rid of more stuff but I began to panic thinking I would have nothing to wear if I wasn't careful. I honestly think the only thing that I need to buy is a swimsuit. I found some old photographs which I thought were lost forever and I found stuff I had forgotten I'd bought:o.
Hopefully I've already made some money as I sold £11.90 of books and cds. I know I spent a lot more than that on the books in the first place but it is better than nothing.
Tonight I'm volunteering, circuits tomorrow evening, pilates on Thurs - that will keep me out of trouble

Morning all
I'm a bit grumpy mcgrumpy this morning. OH tossed and turned last night as he was working at 5. I finally settled down for a lie in and at 8 a delivery guy banged on the door....he had the wrong address ....grrrrrrrr.
Ok I've had a bit of a slip on the eating front, nothing serious just an increase in panicking and bingeing. It is official ...I can't do diets so I'm quitting slimming world and going back to structured eating. I've been in recovery for at least 3 years and it is too precious to lose. I kind of wish I was one of those people who don't think about eating but I'm not.
Ok today's plan is to do a gentle run while listening to a podcast. I took some shelves down so I need to fill in the holes the screws left. I also have to wash down bedroom walls in order to paint them. I haven't bought paint and mojo isn't quite up to painting but at least if I have the prep work done it might motivate me to paint them.
I spent last week Kon maring my clothes and possessions. It really paid of as I was able to put my hand on most things I needed this week and I got 2 compliments on what I was wearing (2 tops I had liberated from back of wardrobe).
I'm also of to see Lionel Ritchie this week. OH is grumbling that he would rather stay at home and I'm seriously thinking about taking a sister or girly friend who would truly appreciate the greatness of Lionel.
Money front - ok I suppose... on a school report it would be.. could do better:o. I've frittered a bit on lunch but I've been out and about so much I just haven't had a chance to bring my own lunch. From Monday that stops and I'm going to prepare and plan better. I'm also missing those pesky NSDs but I reckon I will capture some next week.
Time for a coffee and a run. Have a good day everyone:)

Hun, pop the LR ticket in his hand and ask him, 'does it spark joy?' If the answer is no, then you can swipe it back and joyfully take one of your gal pals who would enjoy an evening with Lionel
Good that you've recognised that a particular 'diet' isn't for you, and that you've taken action to halt the negative aspects. Well done :T
Hope the sun is splitting the pavements in your neck of the woods.

Hi Greying - how are you? Sun..sun.. sun.. I kind of remember what that looked like...sort of an orange thing in the sky? It was dry today and that will have to do me:D
I mentioned to sis that OH wasn't keen on dear Lionel and she started singing "Say you, say me..". I reckon it will be more fun with her so OH has his last chance tonight. I better be careful I don't do the full Kon Mari on OH and add him to my collection of bin bags:D.
I got all my jobs done today and am just waiting for OH to get home from work. I don't have many plans tomorrow so having a family day with Mum, sis, nephews etc and having mucho food and gossip.

Afternoon all,
Formula 1 is back..ok it was a bit boring but hopefully things will liven up. I watched a snippet of Formula E last night which is all electric cars ... so not right. I recognised some of the names such as Bruno Senna, Prost but I couldn't get past the whine of the cars.
Money front - I have a confession to make I decided to go ahead and purchase my new sofa:o. I know, I know when will I learn but I got it discounted although it won't be delivered for 6 weeks. I also have to pay of my holiday so I now have a card with £2200 (0%) on it...gulp but I plan to have it all paid off by Sept. I like a challenge and I can cope with a debt if I know why I have it.
I also switched my bank account to Santander 123. I know you pay £2 a month but I worked it out that I would make enough money back on direct debits and interest that it would be worth it. I also applied through Top cash back so should get about £36 back.
I have had a bit of a spendy month which you can see from the tiny budget I have left but I have painted a bedroom and put it in order. OH gave me vouchers for Homebase so I got curtains and lampshade to brighten it all up.
I went and saw Lionel Richie with my sister - OH wasn't keen and he missed a great night (serves him right). Lionel was fantastic and my sister had a ball. You can see why he has been a star since the 60s.
I don't have a lot of plans this week, we're off on Tues because of St Paddie's day so I don't plan on doing much.

Me too! I happened to be perusing the TV mag last night as we were watching *filler* TV after the (time delayed due to watching from tape) rugger, and I saw that the Formula E was on. Figured DP would like it, and switched over. Ye gads! I could tolerate the *whine* no longer and shuffled off to bed. DP lasted about half an hour longer, but admitted under questioning (;)) that he had no idea who had won, as he changed channels when they changed cars because the *juice* had run out - how boring is that?
Sounds like you are making considered purchases for your home Munchin and not buying stuff for the sake of it. Well done :T and yes, I bet you'll have it all paid off, soonest too

Hi Greying, I so hope that Formula E is not the future or if it is could they put on pretend engine noise:).
OK you know how us MSE's love a challenge well I have a challenge for me which is to do with structured eating. I fell of the dieting bandwagon and I was on shaky ground for a while with my bingeing increasing but I'm back on the structured eating path. I'm setting myself a plan to be binge free and follow structured eating from now on. I'm going to keep a wee tally for my days to remind myself of how far I've come:D and as a reminder that diets don't work for me. This includes no magazines, no dieting websites and no mention or discussion of the latest diet. If you see it creeping back up at me then you are allowed to hit me with a virtual slap.

Hi all
Things have been good these last few days. I'm tired but I think most people are. I managed to make it to bootcamp this morning and it usually makes me feel great but this morning I was just ready to go back to bed.
I lost my car & house keys during the week and I've looked high and low and still no sign of them. I "know" where I left them and OH isn't sure if he used them but I can't find them so this morning I got a set of house keys cut (£7.50). I checked out how much it would be to get the car keys replaced £50 - £185 . £50 for standard with no button release or £185 to get button release. My Mum has lit a candle to St Anthony so I reckon the keys should turn up soon:). I spent 3 hours checking the house today and even though I haven't found my keys the house is pretty clean.
Good news - my best mate is getting married in England in June and I got my invitation through last week. I've already booked my flights and hotel.

Hi all
I've had a really good week so far
I had a meeting on Thurs night from 7.30 pm to 9.30pm for work and I went with a colleague. We stopped at a pub on the way to the event and had a nice meal. A friend invited me out for coffee yesterday morning and I enjoyed it. It made me realise how much I miss going out with OH (not that we went out a lot). He is doing tons of overtime which I know is because of his redundancy but I miss the social aspect of going out. Soooo he is on leave tomorrow and we're going to the coast (weather permitting) and out for dinner tomorrow night - yeah.
Today I tried to sleep in but with no success and I went to the shops. I mainly did a lot of walking but treated myself to a new blouse (sale) and then I treated myself to a plant... exciting I know:o. I spent £26 in total so I think it was well worth it.
I'm on leave this Friday (Good Friday) to the following Wedand I can't wait.
