    Morning all,

Not much to say this morning - I'm tired and need a lot of strong:coffee:to get me going. I'm doing pretty well on the NSD front and I think I know what to do for OH for Xmas. OH doesn't really want/need anything so I'm going to make up a hamper with his aftershave and then all the little things he likes. I think it will take me about £10 more and the hamper will be done and so will my Xmas shopping:snow_laug

    Hi all

Greying - haven't managed another NSD yet:o but I think today could be the day:).

Last night was my club Xmas dinner and it was such a lovely evening. I was given a bottle of prosecco for my volunteering - shucks. If you are here Fri night and bring a plastic [STRIKE]thimble[/STRIKE] cup I will share:D.

Today I'm at a meeting but the bosses are buying us our Xmas lunch - ok any weight I've lost is defo going back on but it is Xmas and I'm loving it.

I managed a wee run before the dinner yesterday and I really enjoyed it.

I was feeling tired with so much to do and not enough hours in the day etc etc which I know everyone is feeling but now that I got the bosses pressies delivered last night and got out for a run I feel so much better and I really don't have much more to do etc other than hope that OHs pressies turn up. I can now just turn up at things and enjoy them with no pressure.

I have to pop into credit union to sign some forms and that is this weeks volunteering sorted. OH reckons if I got paid for all my volunteering he could be a house husband - I think he is missing the point of volunteering:)

    Have a lovely day everyone.

    Hi all

I'm fed up this morning - OH & I have fallen out as he is an idiot. It seems to be at Xmas that he morphs into this idiot and I could almost set my clock by it. Anyhow the result is that I'm at home and he is at his home and this time I'm determined not to be the one that does all the moves to make things better as he was horrible. I might need to stock up on Ben & Jerry's just in case :D (always a positive).

It also means that I managed NSDs on Thurs & Friday. I'm out for a birthday lunch with 2 friends today but as 1 is pregnant and can't eat much I think it will be a lovely relaxing and cheap lunch.

Money front - I'm doing ok - I got paid yesterday and the challenge is not to touch it until the end of the month. My budgets are pretty tight now but I have -

    Gift fund - £39.18
    Everything fund - £107.26

    Total spends - £20.10

    Morning all,

The equilibrium has been restored in Munchin land:). OH texted yesterday to say "you win this one" which is an apology of sorts...for him. I didn't start the argument etc but its over with and I can get on with Xmas.

I met the girls for lunch and it was lovely - we haven't met up in ages so it was great fun. I also braved Asda and spent £40 but that includes ingredients to make a Bailey's and Maltesers cheesecake for boxing day and a chocolate cake ....just because:D.

I popped over to the 2015 frugal living challenge which I think I join each year and then fall by the wayside:o. I have a good feeling for 2015. I estimated that I can live on £16000 which I know seems a lot but it includes everything including holidays.

    Gift fund - £39.18
    Everything fund - £47.26

    Wed - £15.90 (Mr Ts)

    Sat - £60 (groceries & lunch)

    Total spends - £80.10

    Morning all

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas:snow_laug. Today OH and I are off to his sisters for lunch so it will be a day with his family...oh joy:). They are lovely but I can relax more with my own.

My plans today are to go for a short run - I think I would need to run to Dublin and back twice before I burn off yesterday's dinner but it was lovely. Santa was good - I must have been fantastic all year and OH liked his gifts so I'm quite relieved.

I'm going over to my sisters in England tomorrow so if I half pack now then I should be fine for tomorrow - we have to be at the airport for 7am!!! - I didn't think that one through.

Moomin - isn't the early Dec pay such a nightmare. I've not touched it yet but it still going to be a long January.

    Morning all

Happy New Year:D. I had a really simple night which like a lot of others on here is how I would like 2015 to progress. OH made dinner and we drank some sparkling fizz (gift). I was in bed by 11 and OH stayed up to see in the New Year but I was dead on my feet.

Today we are going to go for a walk to get some fresh air about us and then I'm making a roast - I should have set a goal that 2015 is the year I don't incinerate food:D.

I popped over to Memory Girls blog to listen to Jack's goal setting. I'm not in work Sun or Mon so I'm going to do a clear out and set goals then. I'm also going to do an inventory of all the beauty & hair stuff I have gathered up and use it all up before I buy any more.

I would like 2015 to be the year when I finally have an emergency sum of cash. I cut down the frittering and say "No" a bit more. I would like to worry less about keeping other people happy or worrying about what they think of me:o. I am also going to exercise a bit more as I love it but I can so easily talk myself out of it. It didn't take me long to set a few goals:D
  • Happy new year to you too. I think you've nailed it. This year should progress as it started. With you doing what works for you. Best of luck with it.
