    Evening world

Oh I'm pooped:). I had such a busy day yesterday and I was starting to stress out but it's now Sunday evening and I survived:).

Today wasn't as bad but with the extra hour I ended up getting up at usual time and having time to do some ironing before mass. I then cleaned the house, made lunch for 2 days and dinner and then pottered round to OHs house where I ended up cleaning his house. I know I'm not his cleaner but I can only put up with so much clutter before it gets to me:o.

No idea how healthy eating is going. I've not binged and I've sort of stuck to the plan but I feel I'm eating too much but I'll know better come Thurs.

Ok tomorrow is pay day and I'm trying to sort out budget for this week. Tomorrow I'm going to withdraw £160
    - £50 Xmas savings
    - £50 fat fighters for 12 weeks
    - £20 beauticians (I'm a yetti:o)
    - £20 wine (lidl special starts tomorrow - should do me for Xmas)
    - £20 for the week on groceries & take away with OH.

It's a lot of money when you see it written down but £50 is to savings.

    Have a good Monday everyone.

    Evening everyone,

Sitting here with nephew beside me and he's perusing the Xmas catalogue - it could get expensive :D

    Budget for Nov

    Entertainment\eating out - £120
    Groceries - £60
    Clothes - £10
    Swimming - £20
    Beauty - £10
    Xmas - £250

    Total = £470

So fingers crossed that I stick to this budget this month.

    Evening everyone

Can't believe we're in November and I've just seen my first proper Xmas advert (Co-op). OH is watching Darren Brown but it's not my thing so I'm catching up on diaries.

This week has been very good for the budget. I printed off an Oct/Nov calendar and wrote on it what I expected to spend each day and which days would be NSDs and I've stuck to it. I don't know how long this will last but it is working.

Went to my first weigh in and I've lost.......1/2 lb:D. I thought it being the first week I would lose at least 3lbs so slightly gutted. However I think slowly and surely is the way to go so that I don't trigger any ED episodes.

I saw loads of family on Halloween night and it was good to catch up.

I'm now committed to 3 Xmas dinners already:D. I've just decided to agree to as many outings to become more sociable. I'm also trying to book tickets to see my sister in England at the start of December. It's kind of an annual thing now which I'm looking forward to.

So plans for the weekend - Pilates tmw and cutting logs:(. Sunday OH is working so I have the day to myself.

    Morning MSE

It is gorgeous outside with a lovely crisp frost. It is lovely to look at but but I might not be so happy when I'm outside working in it.

My spending chart has me buying groceries tomorrow but I think I'll pop to Mr T today when I'm in town for my pilates class and kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Slimming world is good as it lets you eat quite a lot but I'm really fussy on the things I eat and trying to make something interestnig isn't easy. It's not the diets fault but my useless cooking skills:D

Money front - I've been approved for the Capital cashback card which I'm going to use for my Diesel and Xmas shopping. I had a cashback card before but I started sneaking non budgeted things on to it so the cashback wasn't worth it. Hopefully this time armed with the MSE knowledge I will only use it for Diesel and get the proper benefits of cashback.

Not many plans today so this is a bit of a boring post but it keeps me straight.

    Hi all

Quick update on the money front today -
    • £4 pilates
    • £16.50 beauticians.
The beauticians is getting very dear so I'm going to have a hunt around for a cheaper place. I don't go there very often so it is my little treat:)

Tomorrow spends £8 running group & circuits during the week and £1.50 paper. No other spends planned.

Mon, Tues, Wed & Thurs should all be NSDs. Well that is the plan and I'm hoping to stick to it.:)

    Hi all

I'm having a lovely day. I've been for my morning run and bought the Sunday papers.

I've cleaned the living room and my room and I've hoovered them both out as well as the hall. I've done my ironing and for whatever mad reason I've tidied out a junk cupboard. I'm going to go put on my lunch and then sit and read the papers while watching Formula 1.

    Perfect relaxing day:D

    Morning world,

I wanted a nice long sleep but I had a bit of a nightmare and i've been awake since 6.

So all is good in Munchin land. I went to see the 'Lady Boys of Bangkok' during the week. I didn't know what to expect but I went with my sister and her mates and we got dolled up and had a ball. Honestly if men can look like that there is no hope for us women. Fantastic show and a really feel good night. It cost me nothing except petrol as sister's friend had free tickets and as I was driving I wasn't drinking.

On money front I am busy earning myself £25 of itunes vouchers. I downloaded an app (money type saving thing - free) and it crashed. So I contacted the company and it's crashing for everyone. They said they would send me £25 of vouchers if I do a bit of investigation for them to see why it's it's not working. I fancy the new Rihanna cd so that has worked out well:D.

I got my new cashback card and they have given me a £4000 limit:eek:. I'm only using it for my diesel and hopefully in a years time I will have a weeks free diesel.

I'm due my Xmas savings on Friday:). I've had a few extra outgoings this month so will be happy when money arrives. I've booked my MOT for the beginning of Dec and fingers and toes crossed the car passes with no work required. I'm going to get OH to have a look over it before the test.

I'm full of beans today so sorry about long post/waffle:D

Money front- nothing drastic. I'm just trying to be as frugal as possible. I'm booking flights to go see my sister in England and I always pay for my Mum's flight as her Xmas present. It will cost just over £200 for the pair of us which isn't so bad.

Ok time to start earning my Itunes voucher:)

    Hi all

I'm up and dressed for a run but it looks a wee bit cold out there and very frosty. As I'm dressed for it I better do it.

Yesterday I scooted into town to see about starting this Xmas buying thing but as I didn't have a
[STRIKE]clue[/STRIKE] plan I came home empty handed and paid out 80p for a parking ticket.
The shops are just so busy and I'm not good with that level of madness:o

I know OH wants some aftershave which I can get online but after that I'm stumped. I'm only buying chocolates for my brothers & sisters families but if I buy them now there is a danger that they could evaporate.

Ok plans for this week on the spending front -

Sun - £10.50 papers and advance payment of exercise classes.
    Mon - NSD
Tues - £25 (groceries for week)
    Wed - NSD
    Thurs - £3 (slimming world)
    Fri - £10 (take away)
    Sat - £4 pilates.

    Total = 52.50 ish.

I have a separate Xmas budget that I'm not including in this weeks spends and will add separately but the way things are going it wont be touched this week.

Ok so that is the plan and I'll see how close I can stick to eat.

    Morning world,

I spent part of last night checking my budget for the rest of the month as well as December. I've decided to do the envelope system, so that when it's gone it's gone:).

I'm on target with budget plan this week but I'm trying to cut down on impulse spends.

I've picked up so many tips on these forums but I need to use them:D:o

Time to take on the world

    Hi all

I'm setting myself another challenge as I'm such an impulse spender. I was looking for a 2013 wall calendar and last year I found a free one which was perfect. So I googled and found a calendar for £3.42 on Amazon and hit 'buy' without another thought. See again it's another impulse spend. If I waited a bit I might have got a free one and although it's only £3 odd all these little bits soon add up.

So my challenge is that I'm not heading anywhere near Amazon or other online shops (except for birthday presents) until 01 April 2012 - 140 days.

The money I have frittered could have helped me be debt free a long time ago.

    Ok back to work:)
