Ugh. There had better not be a big increase in slugs around here. One day last year I went out to my front garden and stepped on one, looked around and there were quite literally hundreds. I have no idea how or why but imagine the Hitchcock movie The Birds and change it to The Slugs and you've got how I felt in my garden at that moment. And they were all converging on the front door for some reason. Makes me shudder just to think about it. I'm afraid I was so disgusted I went and got a big bag of salt, I couldn't deal with any other way of getting rid of them.0

Mrs Chip - it might be the gastronimic breakthrough of a lifetime! POSESSION - please reassure me that they can't fly!!!!!!!!! - its bad enough when you stand on one in the garden, but flying slugs yuk. you'd need to be in waterproofs perpetually or be slimed to death every time you ventured outside!!!!!!0
