Me too maryb, I'm def a cat person! LOL

We have a dog I love dearly, however I def consider myself to be a cat person, once this dog goes I will not consider getting any more dogs - cats however I could not live without. :)

Oh has been clearing out shed to find mice - he very put out that the cats have sat and watched him!! :rotfl: Then fell asleep.

Other peoples cats visit my garden so often that I have to wear rubber gloves to weed and other peoples dogs have been allowed to pee on our front garden box hedge so regularly that it has large brown patches and part of it has died.

The thread seems to be suffering from similar problem.

Been away and then lurking for quite a while as I've had an operation. Been told to do nothing, to rest, etc etc which is definitely making life tougher as its boring. Thanks for your comment Mardatha - has cheered up the wait for my next painkiller:T

To keep myself entertained I've been spending more time on the web, and saw this piece about solar flares:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-17311633

Now thinking about how to prepare for longer term blackouts, no web and no mobile phone if one of these storms hit. Going to use this as an excuse to watch more on the History channel - for research on how to live tech free:)

Anyone else been following the space weather?

It's boring resting, I know this well. Pits!
I haven't been paying attention to solar flares really but I do like to prep for a time when we might not have affordable electricity, and I like to look back to Victorian times to see how they did wonders without it.
