:T:T:T Mar - very tuneful!
All too much to bear atm, squinting at TV through my fingers!
Kate - thankfully I was 'filleted' several years ago - 'fraid the mooncup needed to be more of a moonbucket, so thankful that all that is behind me.
Ooohhh the tension!Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures0 -

Well done Wales. Well earned. If it can't be us then a great alternative.
Where are our Womble pictures?GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -
I don't watch Wales anymore; superstition. :oThey always start to lose when I start to watch. So...distract myself with other things. Just spent a happy hour cleaning my DD's hoover. We now have a completely dismantled hoover and I'm not sure I remember how it goes back together!0

Not posted for a while as really busy but have been reading as regularly as I can.
Just popped in to say has anyone heard from GreyQueen recently? I don't think she has posted for a while. I do hope she's OK and not struggling with her new broadband connection.
Love and hugs to all in need.I'm fine and dandy, hunnies, as is the broadband*, just spent a week reeling with exhaustion and not using my own pooter after spending hours each day staring at one at work. We're doing "year end" in La-La Land and it's beyond manic as hundreds of thousands of things get sent out and generate a fair proportion of telephone calls back in. Plus they take down IT programs one-by-one for uprating and we still have to limp along and answer questions despite flying blind some of the time. Roll on the new financial year..............:rotfl:
She's probably enjoying good weather and at the lottie, or has been turned to the dark side - i-player as she has no TVI'm too simple-minded to know how to do i-player.
Heck, I don't even know what it is, I'm that simple. I have discovered that fun things can be watched on YouTube and have had some laffs there.
I was on the allotmentino this morning until rain stopped play just before lunch and have planted 5.5 rows of broad beans. The reason for that apparent eccentricity is that I'd pre-soaked the beans but hadn't estimated perfectly. I shall complete the short row tomorrow with non-soaked beans and call it an experiment in germination times. I have achieved broad beans up-in-6-days based on a 48 hour pre-soak but I haven't done this in controlled conditions statistically adjusted for planting hole depth etc etc.
I just jab a hole with a stick alongside a planting line and drop a bean in and hope for the best. Happy days. I almost always end up being rained-upon when doing the beans, as also happens whenever I go camping. Should offer to go plant them somewhere particularly parched such as the Sahel and see what happens then.;)
Ooooof, gonna have to wander off now as still dry-eyed with fatigue (and hungover, but that's another story). The piccies will be on FB by now I expect; look for one of the millions of pix of drunken idiots; that's me in the middle with the manic grin and the crossed eyes.
 Cheers!

FISH IS FOOD NOT RUBBISH!
I don't know if any of you have seen this? The new EEC discards policy is in danger of being rejected by the French trying to derail the process... if you could tweet for Hugh's appeal it might make some difference!

Thanks for the offer, hun, but I'm not personally on FB but people I know manage to capture digi-images of my boatrace in group shots in public houses and at parties from time to time and apparently those are on FB. Since I'm no oil painting I have no desire to check that out for myself.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Anyone trying to stalk me on FB might have the impression that a) I get out more than I do and b) that I like a cocktail or two............. Honestly, I lead a life of boring virtue and if anyone tells ya different, they're a durdy rodden liar.:p Hic!
OK, time for my Horlicks, winceyette nightie and fluffy slippers.......Laters, GQ x

Another day another trip or two to walk in centre!
Trip one Ds13 - injured in school yesterday playing rugby, sent home bandaged up - no note! Result - three hour wait at walk in, tendon damage, six to eight weeks for recovery and its his writing hand!!
Trip two DS8 - has picked glue off leg and infected it again, thankfully I called GP earlier and they booked us into the walk in so only thirty minutes this time, result - bit more glue and degunking!!
having taken Ds8 shopping for trainers, shoes and black jeans ( school thing Monday), taken DD6 to swap her birthday too big clothes and done the food shopping with both in tow, minor panic when I realised its Mothers day tomorrow and I hadnt bought anything!!
Shoe shopping with DS is hell enough without having to organise Mothers Day gifts as well - surely there should be a rule against it.:)
Ds took thirty minutes being convinced that they no longer manufacture the trainers he has had for last few years (four identical pairs), shop had to ring outlet centre for him to check!! Finally chose a pair as similar as possible - tried others on, same style just different colour and looked really uncomfortable in them, changed colour was bouncing about!0
