    ~Fenjal is lushhhhh!

I fear that the economies are beginning to prepare for the break up. I was a bit concerned by Merv the Swerves little outburst though. There are so many outcomes that I really think we can just sit and watch and be as prepared as possible.

Can anybody remember Badedas in glass bottles ?

Yes, tall glass bottles that came in a mostly green box and was expensive. The ad showed the back of a lady draped in a towel (white?) looking out of a window. The catch line was something like "things happen after a Badedas bath". Or that was for a completely different thing

ETA - check this link http://www.advertisingarchives.co.uk/index.php?service=search&action=do_quick_search&language=en&q=badedas

Might be wrong about the glass bottles

No, its not Badedas its something different. ARGHHHH! What I'm thinking of came in a glass bottle, it was round, and very very dark green.

Oooh, Badedas. I'd forgotten all about that. It was lovely.

I belong to the Tesco DVD rental club (much like LoveFilm), and in the post this morning they've sent me 5 little cards to give to people for two months free membership. There's no obligation to spend anything as you can cancel at any time. Anyway, if anyone would like one, pm me your address and I'll pop it in the post for you.
Not sure if I'm allowed to post this , but it seems such a shame to just bin them if someone can enjoy them.

We always say that Merv only tells you half and whatever hesays it will always be twice as bad.

I personally think that the MSE ladies could run the Economy better than anyone.

I thought it was quite telling that he told the banks yesterday to keep the spare money in reserve instead of using it on bonuses and dividends.

Not spending it on bonuses is one thing, but cutting dividends will have an impact on pensions :(

Mardatha... Are you sure it wasn't pine essence? I know the stuff I linked to wasn't the same brand or bottle as my dad used to get, but both the original (which I can't remember) and the Culpepper one we located when that was discontinued) are no longer available.

Obviously the RV will have to get you a selection of retro bath products so you can try them all and identify the mystery product!
