OOH 3 for 2 on green baggies, great!! I've got a £5 off £20 spend voucher for Lakeland and need a new oven glove so was wondering what to buy to make up the difference.
Thank you!!It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -
Maryb, I never seem to have any trouble spending money with Lakeland
I get really confused by all the advice on eatingso I'm just going to cut back on crisps and wine and hope that does the trick!

Good evening all. Delurked on 30 December after reading all the tough threads for several years and realised today that I have carried on reading and haven't joined in as I vowed I would! Reading this thread is one of my daily must dos and I find it truly inspirational. As many other people have said the level of support and advice given is phenomenal and in many respects so much better than in real life. Will definitely be reading every day and will endeavour to post as often as possible. Best wishes to all.0

Byatt, if you can't see them, check your profile - go to the green menu bar at top of page, click on UserCP and look down the list on the left for Edit Options, and then Thread Display Options - you need a tick against Show Avatars... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

You've just said exactly what I was going to say.
I've already learned so much from you ladies (is it all ladies?!) on this thread, and I haven't given anything back yet. I'm very much an o/s newbie, and I can't sew or knit, and I hate gardening so I don't know if I'll be much good, but I'm going to try!
PS I don't iron either, must be at least 2 years since I ironed.0 -
Fuddle I like your avatar too.
Mrs Chip I had a look at the link you posted and quickly read a couple of articles, thanks for posting. It is a very interesting blog. I read the one about sugars and remembered an article I read some time ago about cultures that don't consume much sugar. They had much lower levels of heart and stroke problems. I can't remember which countries but I think one was chile.0
