I regret ever recommending Primus to anyone! I had so much trouble with them at the end and they continued to take mony from my credit card 4 months after my contract was finished and terminated. As for their Indian call centre - it is the pits. Anyone thinking of BroadBand - DO NOT GO NEAR THEM!

I have had a telephone service with Primus for perhaps 8-9 months and they are a b****y nightmare. Every single bill had a mistake on it! Each month I had to phone up and speak to someone and try to make him understand what needs to be done. The next month there would be yet another mistake. This experience has been something unbelievable. I would not recommend them to anyone as it is such a hassle. I finally moved in April to Talk Talk as they were offering free broadband for a year. Primus are still at it - although they knew my account had been terminated they charged me line rental till mid-May so I had to call and email to remedy that, then on the next bill they charged me £1.90 for a call that was supposed to have been a free w/e call! It just goes on and on.....

PS if anyone wants a cheap dial up service you could subscribe to Claranet. They offer 12 hours per month off peak for I think £5 per month or £40 pa which is really good value!

That was very similar story to mine, i had finished a 12 month contract with Primus, and changed to a 18 month package giving line rental, calls and broadband for £30, however every month they managed to overcharge, with promises of next month the bill would be correct, but it never was.

I did end up getting out my contract, the details are all in the thread that i posted the link to, earlier in the thread, even after leaving them, it took months to get them to stop billing for services that they were no longer supplying, and as for the Indian call centre, i think my cat knows more about telephone services!:rotfl:
