Thanks for the quick replies. The only reason I looked at BT is the unlimited usage. Plusnet have a monthly usage and I dont know how much data I use.
The is a well used facility in Plusnet's member centre which details your monthly usage. I think you can also see the breakdown into into web, email, streaming whatever...

I got TalkTalk Fibre, customer services are alot to be desired but I emailed the CEO and each month since one of her assistants has sorted billing issues out PRONTO the same day. I'm a mile from the exchange as the bird flies and get 38MBPS as my average....not bad for a FREE upgrade when TT 24MBPS failed me at 8-9MBPS & staff lied to me thats all my line supported so I said im leaving and got Fibre (BT Infinity resold) to stay. This month TT messed my direct debit and I got cut off, I paid by card - CEO contact sorted it refunded £9 non D/D fees & gave me a free month next month
So Essentials has cost me £31.10 all in from my Sept connection for Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec standard charges then a few calls ontop till 1st Dec a grand total of just under £49.
£15.55 a month till April 2012.
My problems with TT outsourced customer care have seen the CEO office reduce my bill again and again and resolve the issues.
1 call to care and if I get a idiot (likely) I call CEO contact & its sorted & credit for inconvience.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
As stated, line rental is payable to BT for BT Infinity. New customers can get Infinity Option 1 + UEWP plan for £18, with Unlimited anytime available as an add on for £4.90, or you can have your calls with another provider. Although, you would benefit better by having the calls with BT, as not many companies provide a competitively priced calls only package.0
