I guess asking a sensible question is off the table but I'll try again, OP did you walk to number 32 and ask if they have your parcel?The_ICT_Engineer wrote: »Or has number 32, Been round with the parcel?
He did say that he could prove with his CCTV record that the van had not been down his street at all. Probably worth checking, though. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

since i live in a cul de sac and my house faces the street junction ,i can see every thing that comes in and out off the street from the camera that looks at my car and no DPD van has been down the street or any other van,
i've had things delivered by DPD and the others ,never had a problem ,the thing that really peeed me was was that they saiid they knowingly delivering to the wrong address, because they have had a lot of parcels delived latery
thats what peed me offthere or their, one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0 -

No 32 would be the one with no 32 on the door...failing that somewhere between 28 and 32, depending on how you road is numbered.
Hope that helps!!
GOne day some company will do what they say they will do and charge a fair charge.:T
Not doing the opposite of that which they promise and charge you a fortune for the privileged.
Or maybe not:mad:0 -

Similar thing happened to me this week. Waited in because the email said it had to be signed for. Checked the tracking, waited for a van etc etc. Finally the tracking status changed to 'delivered' and signed for by 'under carpet'. I live in a flat, so went exploring and finally found it three floors down outside someone elses door under the welcome mat! They were in the building for heaven sake, there's really no excuse for that. Emailed complaint to amazon and dpd and got the expected 'we'll look into it' reply."Empires are not brought down by outside forces, they are destroyed by weaknesses from within."0

The wrong house number is bad enough but recently they tried to deliver my parcel to the wrong city. Didn't they check the postcode? Or city? Or even street name? The ironic thing is, the depot is ~3 miles from my house and it probably travelled 300 miles to the other city! The tracking said it was delivered there, but next day I get an email confirming my successful refund after 3 failed delivery attempts. Frrrufrhgir idiots!Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0

As a side note... why not get a (loud) door bell so you don't have to rely on CCTV...
Surely you can't have been watching the cameras every minute of the day so could easily miss someone with a parcel or a van? If hes doing multiple drops in the area he may grab more than one parcel and walk to the closeby addresses so the van may not even enter the street.....0
