I found my boxes in the local stationery shop for 49p each, so its worth looking in there too.

No I havent! I love marshmallows too especially the pink ones! Ive never managed to work out if they actually taste different or if its just the colour though! Try dipping them in melted chocolate too! Yum!0 -

Ok, so I made a batch of toffee using this recipe
c. brown sugar
1/2 lb. butter
3/4 c. golden syrup
1 300 ml tin Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
Bring to boil in heavy pot (MEDIUM Heat). Boil hard, stirring constantly until toffee threads in cold water (about 20 minutes). Pour onto buttered baking sheet. Cool. turn sheet upside down and break into pieces. Nuts may be added to pan before toffee is poured.
Anyway, it tastes delish, but its bendy and chewy, not hard and needing smashing with a hammer.
I was wondering, is it ok to put it back in the pan and boil it to a higher temp?
Or would I be better off coating it in chocolate? Its got a bit of a buttery sheen to it so I'm wondering if the chocolate would stick to it0 -
Oops, double posting, sorry!0
