These truffles by Delia Smith are easy and fun to make and look very pretty and Christmassy whether put into little cases or not. However, I wouldn't use the special high cocoa chocolate that Delia recommends. We did this and they tasted very bitter. We then used ordinary dark Bournville chocolate and they were very nice.

When you have made them they look exactly as they do in the picture.
I think most supermarkets sell the little cases. I know my local Sainsburys do.0 -

Thanks - I'm off to Asda tomorrow so I'll try there. My local supermarkets didn't have any but they're the small high street branches, hopefully I'll have more luck in a superstore.0

I'm making some of these for christmas, but used a recipe from the christmas thread (icing sugar not cream). good if you dont have a processor. I used some orange essance in some, and covered in chocolate humdreds and thousands. Really easy and really scrummy. have to eat them all now though!
