    HI, :)

We use quite a few abbreviations around here. There'a handy list here:-

What do all the abbreviations mean?

DD, DS1, MiL, LOL... are all explained:- Click Here

And you can always find the list to look up because it's in our Welcome to MoneySaving Old Style - (Read Me First) sticky at the top of the forum listing.

    Hi totalnewbie,

There's a fairly recent thread on sweets with lots of links that should help so I'll add your thread to it.

For more abbreviations on MSE and other help with posting have a look at sra's Unofficial A-Z

I have stacks of icing sugar in my cupboard, and just thought about making Peppermint Creams. I really must find a recipe for it. :) I'm fairly sure it's quite simple to make, as I seem to remember making them when I was younger. *goes to find a recipe*

I think the recipe is just egg white and icing sugar with a few drops of peppermint essence.

There was a really simple recipe on Weezl's thread for cinder toffee.

    Hope this helps.

What sweet things do you have in? Could you make chocolate tiffin? Or if you have popping corn, sweet popcorn.
