02 sims no 300 free texts

I wonder if someone can help i have a 02 300 free text sim topped up this month on 1st jan and the texts run out the other day so i was using my credit topped up last night at 6 pm £10.00 but i am still getting charged for my texts anyone help please

I`ve not been with 02 for a long time now, but it used to take 24-48 hours from top up, until you texts were free.

It does state it in the t+c

You will not get texts everytime you top up by £10, but just £10 a month on your anniversary date. If your free texts were applied 01-Jan this month, you will not get them again until 01-Feb at the earliest.

i thought you would get them again but your aniversary date would change is that not correct

Your anniversary date will only change if you top up later than one calender month. Example top up 1st-jan-07, anniversary date is 1st of each month. Top up again on 15th Feb, your anniversary date will change to the 15th. If however you top up on the 15th Jan, this will not affect your anniversary date as was not more than 1 month from your previous top-up.

oh right thanks for your help bit confusing
so now ive topped up will i still get my texts on the 1st of feb or will i lose this £10 worth and have to top up again for them ?

No you wont have to top up again for them. Your £10 balance will be used for free texts until the 1st Feb and then they will kick in again. As long as you top up a minimum of £10 every calender month from your last top up your free texts will be re-applied on your anniversary date.

o2 explain it a bit better than me,hope this clarifies.....

The day on which you activate your SIM will be your 'anniversary date' each month. The anniversary date is the date by which you must have topped up by to receive your free Text Anytime, Talk Anytime or Talk Offpeak monthly allowances. You will receive a text message reminder 48 hours before your anniversary date to notify you if you need to top-up.
If you fail to top up in the month before your anniversary date, you will not receive any free monthly allowances. If this happens and you subsequently top up your free monthly allowances will start again and your anniversary date will be adjusted to the date of the month of your subsequent top-up.

so if i top up 3 x £10 in a month i will get 1000 texts the next month
