I sometimes think that money, smoking, weight, you can only concentrate on so many of them at a time. Woohoo to losing 1.5 stone. That is SO awesome. I lost a WHOLE 1lb oops in the same time lol. And smoking less is still money saving. I have heard of a website called 60 days to quit or something like that, maybe worth a look?
Hi Chevalier
Will look into that now thanks. No more weight loss now so just debts and smoking to tackle

Well day 2 guys and I'm still here. Very proud of myself today as I have listed ten items on our beloved selling site. First time ever!! I had a few bits of jewellery that are worth quite a bit that I have never worn so they are all on!! Woo hoo me!!
I hope they sell as I really need the money. Only nine pounds in the bank until next TuesdayBut I have petrol, food and tobacco so don't really need to spend anything. Yeah lots of NSD's for me haha!!
Still have lots of other things to list but I have reached my maximum listings of ten items
On a more positive note had a really MSE long weekend having not done a lot but relax. DD has had friends over and I've been catching up on here although I do get carried away and stay up too late. Note to self - It's a work day tomorrow, turn the laptop off at eleven!! So if any of you see me on here after then please shout at me lol!!
Take care!!

Ahhh only just realised that my day 3 post is missing:(
Well I really only missed yesterday but it was a bit of a manic day!! Just didn't have time to post.
I have 8 watchers and 2 bids on one of my listing which ends on Sunday so I can't wait.
I'm doing really well on the NSD's. I'm on my 4th now which is mostly down to smoking rollies now instead of buying 20 a day!!
Looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend and hope you all have a good one!!
Will update my balance tomorrow as I'm still not sure what it is. DD is at her dads all weekend so I have time tomorrow night.
Take care all.

Hi Folks
It's not a good day here in Lil land. I have just broke up with my on off OH and not heard anything from himWe don't communicate and that isn't enough for me. I suppose I should see it as a good thing money wise as I have been spending more money while I have been with him. I have tried to do this before but he talks me round every time. Not this time, I'm worth far more than he can give me
DD doesn't know about him as I wanted to be sure before her meeting him so I'm so glad I didn't go down the route of introducing her. Just feeling a bit sad because we were really good friends and I don't think you can ever salvage a normal friendship again when it has gone futher than it should.
Sorry for my ramblings on here, no-one I can phone at this time of night
Lil

Thanks Erme. Think I really need to stay on my own. I guess its not just his faulty, its mine too. I'm no good in relationships no matter how hard I try. They just aren't worth the heartache.

Oh and forgot to mention I think my job is in jeapordy as well. It seems nothing is going right at the moment when only a couple of weeks ago everything was great. I've gone from being really angry to breaking down completely tonight. There are just no jobs out there and I have never been out of work before. I've even been looking at jobs that are alot less pay as I'm hoping tax credits will make it up.
I guess everything happens for a reason right?? That's what I'm hoping anyway. I'm hoping I can look back at this at the end of next month and breathe a sigh of relief that everything is ok.
Heres hoping!!
On the other hand I hope everyone has had a good day!!

Hello Lil,
I'm sorry to hear things feel like they're caving in on you at the moment. I really hope there are higher and nicer reasons for you going through this skin shedding, onto better things.
It was sad to read that you don't feel you're good at relationships. I'm exactly the same so I know that horrible hollow feeling you may have right now, even though it's probably not really your fault at all. I think people like you and I possibly deliberately go for the wrong ones, almost to prove ourselves right that we are bad at this when it inevitably goes sour??? I don't know. Possibly a little too deep for the time of day and what you're going through.
I do hope your working life calms down very soon too. It's horrible to feel so in limbo with so many things. I really do hope this is all just a matter of shedding things that aren't good for you so that you can move onto where you're supposed to be.
Take care and I wish you lots of luck at getting things sorted.0 -
Yeah I would take a lower paid p/t job cos tax credits are there for a reason and may well make the difference to you. I know when I start work I will go part time and tax credits will make up the difference. I actually won't be much better off (more major in terms of finances is getting debt free) but at least I'll be working....
If however you do find yourself unemployed don't use it as an excuse to lie in bed all day. Get a routine. Get up still at the same time (no later than 9am on 'work day') and like go for a walk or something. Find out the community groups nearby (often run by churches) and use those. Often you can get a bit of company and a cuppa for £1 or less. Try and reduce transport costs and walk as much as you can or get a good value bus ticket. Even try freecycle or your local bicycle cooperative (I know they have one in Cambridge but can't remember what it's called. But bikes there are like £40-60) and see if you can get a cheap bike? I paid quite a bit for my latest (no regrets) but my first one that I really used up here only cost £50. Or try gumtree?
Cycling does two things. reduces transport costs and also gets you free fresh air and gives you sooo much freedom compared to even the bus
Know I am here for you and praying you find something soon.....
Hugs

Hi MuffinTops
I managed to read your post at lunchtime today and it really cheered me up to know I'm not the only one bad at relationships. I think I pick blokes who 'need' me and then when they have themselves sorted, off they go, and the next person along gets the new improved better them.
Things have been a bit better at work today and I may be able to move to another department, fingers crossed, but I won't know for a while.
Thank you for your kind thoughts and I have just subscribed to your diary. I did notice we are both the same age as well.
Take care.
Lil
