  • Hey!

Brilliant goals for 2012, you're all organised so no reason why you won't do well! I have faith! Once they become habit it all seems less of a huge task and more of a normal routine then it becomes easier.

I love the wii, if you like dancing do you have the dancefit game? It's really funny and you and DD could play together? I found mine mega cheap on amazon.

Not sure re the electric and gas as ours is sorted by landlord so not had much experience in that yet, hope someone else can adivse better.

    Here's to a brilliant 2012!

  • Happy New Year everyone!!!!

LG - been meaning to get that game for ages, will have a look but will have to be next month, got a tight budget this month :)

Well had a brilliant night last night with some great friends and managed to come home with money in my purse, yay me!!

I have joined the Grocery Shopping Challenge with a budget of £200 for the month which is going to be £50 a week (obviously lol) but I also did a shop on Friday which wasn't included in that and managed to come in at £46.71 and stocked up on quite a few things. I am hoping that next week will be a lot less and I will be able to put that away towards my debts at the end of the month.

As I have been slightly hungover all day and tired I have managed my first NSD of 2012 and hoping to have a few more this month. Never had one before cos of smoking.

Hope everyone had a great night and here's to a brilliant 2012 for everyone!!

    Hi,

Just a quickie, sounds like your plan is pretty similar to mine, except my requirement to exercise is not because I have put on weight yet just because my slanket and sofa look so much more inviting than either the dvd, or the treadmill! i must exercise and i must give up smoking but current circumstances dictact that will not be a good idea now.

I can however highly recommend the no smoking thread, although i did start again, i stopped for almost 18 months (different user then). I do smoke rollies now helps a bit, and i can't stand the taste of tailor mades now (small steps in the right direction;))

Hope you are getting on ok with all the bits of life. Off to catch up in a few other places

    Hi Guys

Well just updated my signature and I am quite happy, under £10k now.:j:j

Dolly Rocker - Not been a bad start to the year thanks. Weighed myself yesterday and I have lost 4lbs since just before Christmas so I am really happy with that. Didn't overeat too much but went a bit over the top with the drink. Detox this month me thinks ;)

Freshair - Glad to see you back. I'm not doing too bad on the smoking. From 20 a day to only 4 in the last couple of days. Not going to go total cold turkey and work has been a bit mad so don't want to push myself too hard but I am really happy with 4.

London Girl - Hope you have had a lovely few days. You have always got us to keep you company for the next few weeks again.

I've just had to adjust my spreadsheet again as I had a little spend on the bank holiday. Still doable (is that a word lol) for the rest of the month just tight. Got some money to pay off DD's school trip which is next month but nothing else now all direct debits have gone out.

Just a question for any of you who batch cook. I have done a little bit in the past but it has always been eaten within two weeks. I do things like chilli, spag bol etc. Just wondering how long you can keep them in the freezer for as I am planning on doing bigger batches.

    Take care.

    Lil
