    dysons are very poor,
we have a Lindhaus cleaner which is italian and its made in italy, they are an industrial brand that make industrial cleaners hence its very powerful although it does use bags and is noisy but its in no way flimsy and it doesnt break down. it cost half of what they are asking for a dyson, tbh its just a whole load of marketing crap.
  • I own a DC 01, 07, 08 and 14 and soon to be owner of a DC 15 Ball.

Dysons are far more effective creatures than any other vacuum cleaner I have EVER used. Measuring sheer suction power is pretty useless as it all has to do with the efficiency in which that power is manifested - for example the DC 08 is Dyson's MOST powerful cleaner ever made, yet it doesn't vacuum anywhere close to as well as a DC 07 would, despite being more powerful and this all boils down to a better design in the ability to harness the power.

I have yet to buy the DC 15 Ball as Edinburgh Stores are VERY inefficient at getting any type of quality stock, but I will be purchasing mine from Currys under their 28 Day Home Approval Guarantee, and then return it on the 27th day and buy it from another retailer who by then would have a much lower price - providing that it is a good cleaner of course, if not, it's going back on the same day of purchase.

I have a passion for cleaning the carpets in my 4 bedroom apartment to a very strict "medical degree" as I like to call it, and I know whether it has done a good job or not, the best one as yet is still the DC 07.

Will 5 vaccuum cleaners really be necessary for a 4 bed apartment?!

One for each bedroom and one for the toilet.

All the other rooms have wooden floors, I assume.
Just for one moment, thought I'd found my way.
  • I just REALLY like cleaning and I also REALLY like keeping up with the times, everytime a new one comes out I gotta have it!

Do you fancy a free busman's holiday in NW England, I've got 8 rooms on three floors, 2 flights of stairs ?

Bring as many Dysons as you like and I'll provide the dirt to really test their cleaning power and your cleaning techniques.

Two male teenagers will provide added difficulty as they really don't like dyson noise levels.

    I've got a DC04 as back-up !

I got a DC08 from the Argos bonanza for 60-odd quid and its a stunningly good machine. The telescopic bit on the metal 'lance' (lol) started to fail and it wouldn't stay up. Called Dyson and I had a new (and re-designed to stop the problem reoccurring) thingy in 3 days.

The house actually smelled cleaner the first time I used it. I wouldn't pay £300 for one, but its still the best one I've ever used.

Er where is this British Invention made again. Lets see is it Britain?

Oh no thats it Dyson laid all the staff off and moved the factory over to the far east so he can literally clean up.
Dyson were refused planning to expand their factory so had to buy a new one elsewhere - they then went overseas. IIRC...
