hi there, thanks for your message...
spoken to the other seller, she said she had a real trouble with this buyer too. but it was to do with the delivery. i told the other seller what has happened to me and the same trick may happen to her too. she is warned and aware of that now.0 -
You could always buy some of her tea and send it back half empty and claim a refund"If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0

I can see why the OP feels miffed by this situation, and do feel sympathetic.
But I'm not sure how paypal's T&C could be any different without either leaving buyers with genuine problems without protection, or increasing their fees to pay for huge investigation and arbitration teams.
In the end the problem is being caused by the buyer taking the OP for a ride. It would be good if paypal could protect against this sort of thing, but it's his word against hers, and I can't see how this could be judged fairly without opening a bigger loophole for those who can spin an convincing tale.0 -

If it cannot be judges by paypal fairly then they should step out of the equation and leave it to the county courts.0 -

hi there, thank you for your comment...
to be honest, i would much prefer to take the matter to a county court instead, but PayPal decided to get involved and made an unfair judgement to my case. The buyer gives no evidence to PayPal, all she did was 'told' PayPal the item was not working and PayPal issued her a full refund straight away, I just cannot see any fairness from PayPal at all.0 -

hi there, thanks for your comment...
PayPal just do not listen to my story at all. I supplied PayPal a pile of evidence (the original advert, a copy of the buyer's text messages, courier's delivery note, etc..) but PayPal is not interested to see them.
on the other hand, the buyer submitted no evidence to PayPal and PayPal believe her story. it is not even the matter of my words against hers.
the whole thing is a joke really...0
