What have you got to show for your debt?

You'd think I'd have a wardrobe full of clothes, a gorgeous house, loads of jewelery etc. Apart from a car (£5000), can't really say I've got much to show for it. Oh a couple of holidays abroad and too many nights out. It soon adds up. How about evryone else?

For the debts that I am currently paying off:

Subaru Impreza - 4 years old now but I still love it as much as the day that I drove it off the forecourt (probably wiping 3k off the value in those few seconds)

A new bathroom - The one I had 3 weeks ago was over 20 years old so it deserved a treat!

Every games console under the sun (the kids not me) and a 4x4 that I just had to have. Don't have much debt (approx £5K and jeep is only 18 months old so in desperation could sell the jeep and pay off debt. But I'd rather not!

I was made redundant and so that didnt help matters, and I travel 500 miles a week, so for a 260bhp car it drank the petrol, and parts needed replacing a lot and i would buy the best money could afford.

Bear in mind before the redundancy i could afford the car and was only 6 miles a day.

    Bloody cars :o
