Hurray Rosa finally got angry
I've been waiting for you to get to this stage as it's the stage before you actively start making changes to the things that have been getting to you. Congratulations
You ARE fabulous and yes you do need to say no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no more to people. You only get one life, and you never hear anyone on their deathbeds saying "oh I wish I'd worked a bit more" do you? Grab life by the goolies and make it yoursOh and I repeat, you are fabbbulous darrrlling
xx

Great news to hear the pole classes are going well this week, well done on starting the plank :T fingers crossed the good pole vibes continue for my class this week too - working on my elbow grip atm with an aim to eventually cracking an Ayesha and Jack Knife (currently a LONG way off that though )
Ooh I can do an Ayesha and a Jack Knife but not from an elbow grip (far too scary ) - with a split grip.
Still struggling with the damn plank! It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

So really Rosa your week hasn't been a waste - you have made more inroads than you realise and will reap the benefits of everything as wellIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Aww thank you lovely lovely wise people - you are of course all quite right. This has been building up for a while as with all the plate-spinning last year I think I just wore myself out and didn't have the energy to be angry. Well now I'm back
So yes, absolutely, my week has not been wasted, it's just been used for thinking and sorting rather than doing. Particularly as when I spoke to lovely friend this afternoon, an opportunity seems to have opened up that I could never have expected or predicted - just that lovely way that the universe lets you know you did the right thing. So in a few moments I shall be off to tell my mirror that I am the talented, intelligent, capable and sparkly author of just this opportunity. And then I'm going to revamp my CV ready for it. The funniest thing is that this opportunity is in a field I have wanted to work in for a long time, did almost all the training, then basically dropped it in order to live and stop getting any further into debt. I had almost given up on the idea of ever getting to really be part of it, and I thought it would take years to arrange. But it may yet be possible, and it may happen soon. It may even mean I can combine it with my current career. And I have no need to panic about any of it since my current job is secure for a year, and I will be DF next year so can do what I darn well like
I was so enthused I rushed off to Sainsbugs to make sure I had decent food to keep me going while I swot on the weekend and for next week's work lunches. Didn't do very well at the lunches part as got back and realised I'd forgotten some bits - but did buy 6 emergency pizzas :rotfl:, since they're on BOGOF and £2 apiece is just fabulously cheap - and found a kitchen mixer I've wanted for ages on offer and even more reduced :j. I had just got round to looking online once I got settled in here but they'd sold out, except for this one in store which was the last on the shelf and another £20 off... making it £105 off the usual price :T:T. It's compact and cute and seems really well designed so I reckon it's well worth the £80 delay in clearing my overdraft. I shall be making scones :j and it is the last piece of house gadgetry I wanted, I feel all settled and sorted now.
I shall have plenty of non-work stuff to do next week as I now have proper motivation for the msc project, since it fits with the new opportunity. And that's apart from getting my allotment going and making scones :T and making sure I look lovely for all the talking to my mirror I'll have to do :rotfl:
All I need now is a fabulous man...

Now to me, that sounds like something you say when the pole goes into the wrong place...and a Jack Knife but not from an elbow grip (far too scary ) - with a split grip.
I bet you say that to all the boys...RosaBernicia wrote: »I spoke to lovely friend this afternoon, an opportunity seems to have opened up that I could never have expected or predicted - just that lovely way that the universe lets you know you did the right thing. Good choice. It was always better than most of it's contempories. And it didn't have the obligatory 5 minute moral lesson at the end... *cough* Bravestar *cough*"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

i think the only split grip move I do must be Butterfly, in fact I hadn't really considered I can do anything with a split grip until now. I'll swap you a plank for an ayesha
