  • Dizziee The Ninja is terrorising the other cats. In the last couple of days, he has chased all of them pretty much constantly, attacking their tails, barging under their noses for their food, ambushing them on the litter tray, anyway he can. He has been called every name under the sun in cat language and has had so many slaps, they seem to have realised that it doesn't make a blind bit of difference to him. So they aren't bothering anymore.

He is very much in love with our old girl Mitzi, he follows her round most of all and I found him snoring under her legs as she used him as a legrest and he used her as a hot water bottle last night. Tonight he has braved hisses and grumbles and forced his way beside the big, fluffy MC girl to sleep.

He is a menace around food - especially meat - and feet in socks - but best of all, he is learning very quickly how to control his claws and his bite, so he should be a well mannered cat instead of a naughty little street urchin at some point :)

And the sooner he is too big to use my bass guitar gig bag as a climbing frame, the better. :)

Macius talks, in fact he only shuts up when he sleeps :)

He also loves climbing up on me - the back of my legs and my back are covered in scratches......then he sits on my shoulder all happy and BIG.... looking down at the rest ;)
  • He's still as chilled as in previous weeks

Eats as though he's never been fed before (and has been wormed), runs around harassing the other cats - and me - still murders every brush, but can now get to my knee with just one set of claws in the leg, sleeps on the dinner table during the day/when I'm out and then collapses in a heap when he's tired and zones out. Then wakes up and starts up again.

He has a very loud purr, makes a noise like an alligator baby when he's hungry and meows like a cartoon cat the rest of the time. Oh, and his feet are rather large.

Dizzy is not by any chance Macius'es brother is he? ;)

Same here, exactly the same.... LOL

Macius is 1kg on the dot now, did you weight Dizzie? I wonder.....

Yes, eats like he has never been fed in his life, GROWLS at others while he eats and attacks them when they anywhere near HIS food. Even Fred backs off (!!!).

    Rest as above.. twins... LOL
  • Awwwwww, thanks for keeping us updated (all of you), I'm loving seeing them grow up!:D
Oh, and his feet are rather large.

I'm glad you added that ..... I was thinking that looking at the pic!

  • He doesn't attack the others when there's food down - he just barges in underneath them and steals their food instead. He saves the attacking for the other 23 hours and 30 minutes of the day.

    :)

Didn't weigh him in the end, but he feels around a kilo. Beginning to wonder just how big his Dad was, seeing as Lucy was so tiny. He spreads them out when he attacks (trying his hardest to keep the claws under control) and they seem very broad. And strong. But he has got the stairs, the shelves, the beds, the sofas, the tables and the bass to climb up. No point in bothering with the scratch post - he was bored with that by 8 weeks!

I have this mental image of some great hulking tom answering to 'Dizz! What you doing, mate?' in the future.

  • How comes Adolf and Macius look so much smaller and lighter than my great lump of kitten?

Yours.. his Indian name is Big Foot LOL

Macius is tiney really.. he got those spider thin legs, I have a feeling he will be Lucy's size.. which does not stop him harassing the BIG cats at home...

    And he is always hungry....

To start with he woule not eat most food at all.

I was stupid enough to tempt him by mixing some ham into it... sigh.....

Now I have anoter Fred at home - Macius is GROWLING while he eats...
