  • long time lurker here, been following this thread everyday!!

just want to say how lovely it has been to watch the story unfold...the kittens are so beautiful (and Lucy) and I'm glad they all have lovely new homes! wish i could have taken one but a vicious tortie prevents me having any more kitties.

well done everyone, great to see so much kindness. :)

Lucy is settling in well, not as anxious as she was last week, her mum is very happy to have Lucy live with her - Lucy eats like a horse and is putting on some weight :)

Hust insured Macius with Argos Platinum (same as my other cats) at 11.33 per month....

No, can not really afford it but after what George had to go through can not risk not to.

So now absoutely no way Macius is going anywhere, he is MY cat and that is it.

Actually, he now took to sleeping with Zara so he is really Zara's baby but hey - all in the family ;)

Dizziee seems to think himself a bit of a Ninja kitty. Everytime I try to sweep up or mop the floor, he's chasing and attacking it. Today, everytime I swept litter into the longhandled dustpan, I had to empty it again because he had jumped in it.

He spends his nights on DD's bed - much to the disgust of the other cats, who now feel they have no choice but to sleep on my bed instead. Oh, well. When I stick my head round the door last thing to check on her (not that she needs it, but old habits die hard), all I usually see is a bundle of child under the quilt, toes sticking out and a very small kitten giving me a look as though to say 'well, you aren't getting me out of here until morning'.

My old girl cat is doing herself proud. She lets him steal ham from her mouth, eat from her bowl with her, he climbed into her bed last night and this morning, she licked his head a couple of times. She didn't really have much choice, as Dizziee seems to have fallen a little bit in love with her, but she could have been a right grumpy mare if she wanted. She has, however, put him straight about pouncing on her tail a couple of times (slap, slap, SLAP, but no claws, no hissing) and he has responded just how he should, in being submissive to her.

Just now, they are sleeping together on the sofa. :):):)
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Dizziee looks so relaxedddddddddddddddddddddd, so laid back - almost horizontal ;)

Macius started eating wet cat food, had to trick him - so far he would only eat dry but I was not hapy about it and.. as he loves ham.. mixed some ham into kitten wet food and... since yesterday he eats wet food too... wohoooooooooooooooooo

Put him on a scale, 850 gram - boy ge grows so fast... LOL

Zara is over the moon as he is not scared of her at all and often cuddle up with her now - my dog is absolutely in love with her new baby.

Fred and Teddy teach hm cat manners, nothing nasty just a paw here and there when he is too naughty (according to them) - funny thing is that for the last week Teddy is not interested in going out so much any more, he just watches Macius from the cat tree... Fred plays like crazy with the little one, chasing each other and then going to sleep togehther. Goerge - tries to catch Macius with his paw vi the crate bars, sometimes I put Macius in the crate with George as he like Dizziee tries to ride on the mop... LOL

o glad he stayed here, lovely little baby he is :)
