Debenhams - Not fulfilling Orders

I know this thread is old but it's about the same issue.

We called Debenhams yesterday to place one order for clothing. Order was accepted and I received an email.

Then today we received another email saying, order was cancelled and unable to fulfill.

So called debenhams on their rip off 0844 number and asked why order was cancelled. Was told it was out of stock. I said the website still shows it as in stock. So complained about them not updating the website and misleading customers about stock. I think they did this deliberately.


I then did a search and found this thread. I agree that it seems to me, Debenhams are trying to reel people in and then cancelling orders.

They have 60% off at the moment, no wonder they are messing customers about.

Just ordered the same item from Debenhams on Amazon and it seems to be going through.

Debenhams are a complete disgrace and won't be ordering again in future. They should be reported to trading standards, for misleading customers about stock.
