Debenhams customer service are terrible placed my order on 18th November eventually told they could not fulfill part of my order.Several emails to cs and phone call going around in circles. In the end i emailed the CEO and got a very quick reply from him.I am now getting my full order and a gift card so very pleased with end result but cs should have resolved this without me having to contact the CEO0

Would you be willing to share the email address you used Brian64? It seems a lot of us have issues.0

I placed an order on 18th November - and when I did not have an e mail regarding the delivery - I phoned CS. They could not find my order - but, could see the one made before that and the delivery.
At no time did he tell me that there had been a glitch in the system...and I thought it was my fault. Like others - 40% off - and an extra 10%. The main item ordered is still in stock - and now reduced by only 20%.
Debenhams online - don't think I will use the again.0 -

In effect I am only an honorary mancunian too as I come from Bury, just work in Manchester.
I have emailed Mr Sharp this morning and cc'ed it to his PA. So we shall wait and see what happens...0 -
Ive had the same thing happen to me this week , I ordered a Misha Baron Bag in the debenhams sale with a very nice 20% discount and got the confirmation email and the money taken out my bank. The next day though my order was cancelled and the money was back in my bank??????? I couldnt wait for customer services to answer so I got on to google , searched for the same bag and found one from a website I'd looked at before I ordered from debenhams. I ordered from this other website and my bag arrived the very next day , oh, and the price was lower than debenhams!!!!!
I've learnt a bit of a lesson in this, in that there are bargains to be had if only I get off my rearside and look around!!!!! We perhaps depend a little too much on the big high street names??0 -
ordered a dinner set, 6 of everything during the sale. They sent us an email the day after the delivery saying that the order status had been changed and that 6 plates had been reduced to 5. We didn't find this out till we had unwrapped everything. Now they are saying we have to wrap everything back because if it isn't in the original bubble wrap we don't get our money back. Debenhams taking orders for goods they don't have!!!0
