No we cant sell the car now, as we still live in the middle of no where. I really wish I hadn't come on here for advice, I know where we went wrong, I didn't need my mistakes pointing out to me over and over again. Feel so much more stressed out than I did before now.

You've sure been given the bum's rush, undeniably and probably undeservedly.

the trouble is, you think you've made yourself clear, yet the bits missing from your posts, instead of asking for clarification, folks fill in the gaps with assumptions. Don't take it personally, it's just human nature and you're the unlucky recipient now.

I presume you're on the housing register with your LA? If not, you should be, as emergency accommodation would be arranged for you, but only upon court eviction. Oh, I forgot you've got something sorted, that's ok.

Nobody deserves harassment, end of story. Rather than turning up to give you grief, she should've just started eviction proceedings.

Well I'm not gonna give you grief, we've been fortunate not to have been in as bad a situation, not facing eviction, but we have been struck down with illness, unless you've faced it, dealt with the various departments dealing with benefits, who never ever speak to one another. It's a nightmare, and I can honestly understand how when folk finally get it sorted, they're too afraid to rock the boat by taking on anything temporary as they can't face the nightmare again.

It would be wonderful if we could all plan for the future, but in all honesty, so many of us are just about managing on what's coming in now, there's no option for saving for a rainy day. If it rains, we'll be fighting to keep our heads up.

Anyhoo, you're moving out, set up a standing order for the arrears at an amount you can afford, put it behind you, and make sure you update your credit files if they're adversely and unfairly affected.

If you found this place through an agency, ensure they know the LL harassed you, they will hopefully ensure she knows what she can and can't do, to prevent others enduring aggravation.

    Good luck in the future.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
