One thing I've learnt is never to click on links.
There was a poor girl here who recently witnessed a dog drowning. I was a bit hard on her, as I have seen such things, and not been able to erase them from my mind for weeks.
I saw the headline thanks hethmar, I don't need to read the detail.
I seen the thread title and decided not to view it as I knew it was an upsetting story which would have me in tears.
After seeing all the replies I have decided to view this thread but I can't bring myself to click on the link as I know from the replies what has happened so don't wish to read into detail. As an animal lover it would be too upsetting and hard to erase from my mind.
I'm not saying the story should have not been posted, just that I am pleased I had the option not to read into detail from the first post

I heard this on my local news this morning as I was getting ready for work. I was upset all day and couldn't stop thinking about the poor dog. RIP.
Glad they've kept the guy in custody and I hope they dish out a huge punishment...like doing the same to him, but somehow I doubt it.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

If we here had our way, he wouldn't have the means to sire children.Person_one wrote: »He might never have them, not everybody does, we can hope.
I imagine he'll be banned from keeping animals, seems insane that you can still be allowed to have children if you can't be trusted not to torture and kill a dog.
Agree, many killers started their murdering career with torturing and killing animals.0 -

And he had a black porche. So easily identifiable - no wonder he handed himself in. I hope to god the porche is set light to by someone.0

Another one that is 'happy' to read no further than the title of the thread. Unbelievable what some people can do:mad:0

I actually feel hatred for that man. Rare for me.0

whats the most he'll get? a slap on the wrist & a ban from owning animals? - the justice would be that as he's identifiable from his car in his area he's set upon when defenceless, just like the poor dog - God, these people make me sick - throw a 1lb of sausage down the front of his trousers & send in a couple of Jack Russells, hopefully stop him from inflicting any mimi-me's on the unsuspecting public.0

I read about this in The Times but it gave very few details. I was going to say that it could have been an accident because I`ve seen dogs tied to cars before and heard of people forgetting in the past. I then read the link to The Telegraph and it said it was at 10pm so I doubt he`d been out for a picnic and also said about the row with his partner. Why bring the dog into the argument?
Once the driver`s details are published nationally he`ll get hell. I agree he should be dragged for a few miles too, preferably over some rocks and jagged slate0
