Thanks for the heads up kerri gt on the Sacla - can I ask what RTC means?
    hi FV
    RTC = reduced to clear

You beat me to it MT :D Had to get very nice assistant to get 3 down from the top shelf for me (only had 3 sacla coupons on me) - they were too far back for me to reach stepping on the bottom shelf and didn't want to try clambering up and ending up with a billion jars of pasta sauce crashing down on me

    Cheers A
    Hows DS today?Better i hope

I thought he was, but then was a bit naughty this evening, so not sure.

took him to a local fair and told him I had limited amount of money and when it was gone, it was gone.

he agreed but when I said to him this is the final ride, all my money has gone, he got off the ride and asked to go on another ride. Then started sulking when I said I had no more money but had explained this to him before we got there.

Bet Jeferey's allotment is flooded like my back garden.
I went up to allotment yesterday morning and the sun came out :D.
Got some parsnips, carrots, leeks, radish, pak choi and a load of different salad leaves. It drains really well as the whole site is on a slope but I built a load of raised beds (free of course using old pallets from work) and I have carpet covered paths between them.
Back home for lunch and then the heavens opened in the afternoon when my parents and in-laws all came round for tea.

Has anyone else had trouble getting the tesco price drop leaflets.

I have been to a few tesco and they don't have any at all, there isn't even a stand for them.

I did them get them last time they did them but its as though they never got them in the first place.

There was a big stand of them at the entrance to our T's so grabbed a few - gave a book each to parents and in-laws yesterday.

I wanted to get some wine in for xmas and some nosh for everyone coming round yesterday (9 of us all together!) so took advantage of the meal deal glitch with the 25% off wine to get 6 mains, 6 wine, 6 sides and 6 puds for just over £30 after using the 12 of the £1 off coupons from the Big Price Drop booklets plus a points coupon from clubcard mailing for buying wine and another one for double points. (Had to go to CS to get the £6 back for the puddings as this didn't work at the till).
Also bought some Lake District cheddar on a BOGOF and used a £1 coupon from same booklet and finished off the shop with a couple of wombled receipts for £70 and £40 :D

    Morning Jeferey

We had about an inch of hailstones as well last night but the hailstones have frozen overnight.

If you got hail last night your veggies might be a bit battered by now, so good job you got some yesterday morning.

Bet your the only veggie grower with carpeting at the allotment:D:D Do you have a shed with a little heater and a chair so you can have a sit down when you want a break.

    Morning everyone else

Hope everyone has a good day, take care when you go out

Good shop Jeferey, saved your OH spending all day cooking while you have guests too.

Morning CW - wakey wakey everyone else!
I have a brick built shed on lottie but no heater - don't need one - just dig for a bit and soon warm up :) - had to take my fleece off after 1/2 hour.
We didn't get any hail but this morning we just had snow in Sheffield for 1/2 hour but nothing where I live 20 miles away. Blinking cold though - it was +0.5C on way to work.

I was pleased with the shop - OH only had to add jacket potatoes (from allotment of course)

I think you can only use one £1 off coupon from the price drop mag per transaction, so it needs to be done in batches of 5. HTH

I have done it in batches of 10 x several times and used the £1 cond spends no probs but have also had several batches of 5...depends on the store and the SA
