But if you get
5 x 750 ml = £5
use price drop £1 off 5 household moc
5 x 75p = £3.75
4lt comfort pure = 25p
Do this for 10 bottles and use 2 of the £1 off mocs and 10 x75p
mocs and for 50p you get 8ltr of Comfort.( I hope)...repeat lots of times and place under the bed in boxes and you can touch the ceiling whilst laying flat on your back:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -

We get the same problem at this time of year but rather than buying a balloon we filled a large carrier bag with newspapers screwed up inside then jam it up the chimney. It works really well but you must remember to remove it before you use the fire again and of course on christmas eve so you know who can get down with your pressies :)00 -

thanks chatmum. was going to check out oldstyle for the answer.
we don't use the fire, it cost too much and as it only heats the living room, so not worth it!
anyway it was leaking gas and british gas switched it off and said it was out of date due to changes in standards, etc. so that is not a problem.
was reading though that you need to leave room around the balloon so that it doesn't get damp. do you have that problem with the bag? does it allow some air to circulate so the chimney doesn't get damp?0 -
Thanks everyone :oim really pleased with it:D
Blu took me about 5 hours including making the cake
Doc your kinda right its a straightforward enough idea but i made the cake myself as its easy enough and the frosting.
Should be harribo type things but i didnt have any so ilettuce and the cheese made out of roll out icing painted with food colouring.
As i say the pic is not the one i made but will post a pic of mine if you like when i put em up on FB tomorrow night.
