Thanks everyone :oim really pleased with it:D

Blu took me about 5 hours including making the cake

Doc your kinda right its a straightforward enough idea but i made the cake myself as its easy enough and the frosting.
Should be harribo type things but i didnt have any so ilettuce and the cheese made out of roll out icing painted with food colouring.

As i say the pic is not the one i made but will post a pic of mine if you like when i put em up on FB tomorrow night.

Anyone who wants to try it the instructions i used are here

they tried to ban her, she complained to customer services and got £15 or £50 back in vouchers

    Coupon lady had posh house,conservatory,oven,kitchen.
it takes petrol to do these shops,
even opening bank accounts, i dont know if im a nerd :o but did you see the gifts?. I don't know if anyone is nerdy, but those where natwest pigs. those are collectable, and she had kept them from when she was a child........... on ebay they go for about £20+ each.

I think if she can afford something she should just buy it and not be a penny pinching woman!. I cant see her in charity shops, or looking for reduced items in supermarkets!.

    Rant over

On a totally different topic :A:A:A

Has anyone gotten their co-op share of the profit coupons in the post yet?

My email came 2 weeks ago telling me to look out for them in the post. Today the co-op xmas mag came, but no coupons..... :(

    Where are they?

To be honest I didn't find it that interesting. Only talked about the things we have mentioned on here.

All supermarkets try little tricks into making us think were getting a bargain.

All supermarkets make idiots of themselves when they have sel like this buy one £1 or buy on offer for 2 for £2.

They think customers are stupid and we on mse aren't. We have learn to be a bit more savvy when we shop.

well I don't quite agree. Yes if you are well off, you don't need to use coupons to get something you don't like just because it is free, etc.

but one way to keep your money and ensure a nice lifestyle in my opinion is to live a little frugal in other ways.

I always say one day when I am out of debt I won't forget my old style ways, ie shopping at different supermarkets, a huge pain in the neck but worth it when you realise how much they rip us off.

Agree with you CW. Nothing new mentioned on the programme that hasn't been highlighted on here at some time or another. A waste of 30 minutes in my opinion.

That's a real pain PM - I haven't used that many (unlike some people ;)) - don't get a chance to go to T's in the week very often. I can walk to M's though when I'm at work but they've been 'funny' in the past with coupons too if there's an offer on.
    Morning all :D
