what are the new year resolutions for everyone????

well i've kinda got the hang of coupons

so in new year gonna make more of a effort/ time to enter competition and do my paid surveys, both of which i've rather neglected lately.
those are promises to myself though not resolutions

so my resolution is to save even more money
but think i better go buy myself a shed to keep the bargains in

chatmum, hope your DS is ok. I hope he doesn't get what we have had. I feel awful!

am waiting for the antibiotics to kick in so I can feel normal again!

had to go and queue for an hour in bhs today as I had bought DS a Workbench, and when we opened it on xmas day, the whole work bench had been tealeafed! :mad: all that was left was a few tools.

I know DH said couldn't you tell how light it was? I said I thought, great a light work bench! plus I was carrying his blooming heavy coat!

so only one poor woman working customer service desk, queue had been there 2 hours! eventually got served and I got DS a pair of ben 10 slippers instead, as no more work benches with a credit note for the rest.

DH bought him hungry turtles, opened the box, the balls were missing :rotfl: so had to wait 20 minutes to change that, got last box on shelf.

Went to waterstones and exchanged 2 books that DH had bought me for xmas....

My resolutions for 2012?

lose weight, get a better job, teach DS to swim, get fitter and healthier, I need to, otherwise I will end up with Diabetes. Need a better job as cannot survive on the one I have. And they do my head in when I am there.

have a holiday, first one in about 7 years, enjoy my last year with DS before he starts school......

spend less money on food, build stocks of everything! cook more stuff, maybe then ds will start to eat better, will help to spend less money on food stuff.

keep saying will do more comps but haven't renewed my membership to my comping club - debating whether or not to, and just stick with mse. but I like my group.....

declutter, buy fridge freezer or chest freezer. looking at cupboard where chest freezer will go, probably better of with fridge freezer.

need to convince landlord to change boiler next spring anyway, so maybe not ideal to put chest freezer in the cupboard next to boiler....
