  • Nice wombles CW.

My little haul of 14 receipts yesterday reeled me £10.83 total (nearly left the decimal point out just for the shock value!). To me thats 3-4 days moggie meat (5 mog household ) or a decent roast dinner (for 4).

Carolinejane - I must have no hygienic morals - a little bit of poop on my receipts wouldn't stop me picking them up - Id just whip my paws under my dettol dispenser. Does that mean I am gross? lol.

People buy weird things after christmas - have any of you womblers looked at the items on your receipts. One of mine had a frying pan, a pregnancy test, skinny mocha and 6 bottles of tomato ketchup. Another, I realised, had only items that began with "p" - pillows, porridge, pork steaks, paper litter, prepared veg and pate.

Im off to womble in peace this afternoon. I plan a lengthy lurk in local Asda and then try the 4 others I have in a 12 mile radius. Bring it on!
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

    Good morning fellow drivellers.

Just checked my DS's asda womble

    24 receipts, 10 worthless

    So 14 receipts totalled £28.10

I am a happy bunny with that, so good luck to other womblers.

    Take care everyone

    CWxx

These were all dated 29/12/11 ?

Did you get something like the following ?

    Tesco +£2.01
    Sainsbury's +£1.24
    Morrisons N/A*
    Waitrose +£8.06

and then at the bottom ....

    * Unfortunately your shopping can’t be compared with Morrisons as the prices that have been collected are now over 7 days old. You can review our Terms & Conditions for more details. Also see our Questions & Answers section.

Only I've just checked the 1st of mine from yesterday and I'm not sure if I'm going to do the rest for the moment.

    THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME

I had this on a receipt dated 2nd Nov that I checked on 3rd Nov - couldn't check against Morrisons.

I called ASDA HQ CS and enquired as to why? Very nice gentleman, very helpful, was not aware of a problem, had never heard of or encountered the discrepancy before. He agreed with me that it was an issue from the point of view of the 10% guarantee and that whilst (for that receipt) no APG was due from T, S and W ...... WHO KNOWS  HOW MUCH it might have been from M ?
Said he (or someone relevant) would contact MySuperMarket.com to find what was going on and get back to me when they had an answer.

No call back after a few days so I chased it up .. spoke to a very helpful lady .. who also was surprised by the M N/A*

She found my details for the previous query and she spoke to the man who had dealt with it. She said they had no satisfactory answer (not even for themselves) but that to compensate for the error the gentleman had already arranged for a gift card to be sent to me.
Sadly it has yet to arrive - must chase that up - especially now that it's happened again.

Unfortunately the thing is that once you've checked a receipt it appears to store the results and whilst you can enter the same details again it only retrieves what was calculated the 1st time round ... so IF MSM.com update their details for Morrisons this afternoon or tomorrow you can never regenerate a NEW APG from the new data now available.

    Think I'll make a phone call :D

So CW - some or all ... the same or not ?
