thats just made me LOL
no wonder prices are high if people 'claim' for minor things like this
i was merely pointing out that a "refund" can be done over the phone......but you obviously couldn`t see that. Ah well. When things in life start to weigh heavy on your shoulders, and people all around are having a go, just smile and think.......Fxxk em!0 -
Be nice to all moneysavers.0

I am having trouble working out how you thought Tesco could do anything for you without any proof at all that there was a problem with the product. If you had called the store you bought them from and got the call logged, they could have dealt with it next time you went in, taking the evidence with you.0

To be honest I did not want them to do anything(not in the habit of wanting my money back they were only £1.50) just maybe log the fact that their own wraps are not working, thought maybe if they log every complaint about a product then they have something to take to their supplier.
It was purely frustrating last night trying to pull them apart, did not think if the microwave tip thanks OP.Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0 -
That is also why I took pictures of the product so that it could sent to the supplier, I really don't want the hassle of keeping something for a week before I take it back.Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0

I phoned them to say that an 89p bag of rocket was all wet and manky when I opened it. They asked me to keep the label and gave me a refund next time I was in.
Call me a meanie, but why should I just pay for something inedible?C'est le ton qui fait la chanson0 -
Oh and this was the first (and last ) time that I buy their own brand wraps.Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0

I don't think the OP was after compensation, I think he/she was just having a vent about a minor frustration. This *is* the vent board, after all
That said, if it was me I would have just complained the next time I was in Tesco. Life is just too short. (Or actually if I'm honest I'd have probably forgotten completely about it by the following week, and never complained at all).
So have we reached the end of the discussion? Because if so... It's a wrap.DFW Nerd 0350 -
Whats the problem people? Bluetimone97 has every right to be annoyed with substandard wraps.
They are goods not fit for the purpose they were sold for.
Why shouldn't tesco's send her a voucher to compensate and look at improving their recipes?
Is the world going mad??

PS Tescos are an awful store, Sainsburys are far superior and food is much better quality. They also offer great customer service.0 -
