  • I will concede that small dogs have a plus side over their larger bretheren - they don't take all the room up on the bed!! - very often me & he who must be obeyed are pushed to the outer regions of the bed whilst his lordship stretches out in the middle. I have threatened him with swapping him for a chihuahua

They cost less to feed, they're easier to bath, you can carry them if they have an injury or illness that means they can't walk and you need to get them to the vet.

Of course, as a small dog owner I would never randomly start making disparaging remarks about big dogs based on their size, not sure why its ok the other way around...

(Sorry, but you've stumbled onto one of my pet hates!)

I see nothing wrong in it at all.
Our dogs want attention, attention and more attention. So dressing them up and they getting oohs! and aahs! is what they crave.

I laughed at Matthew Wright the other morning, who is a dog lover and owner.
He said nasty, snarling beasts realised that if they looked at us like this, putting on a doleful face, they would get free food forever. Aint that the truth.

They're very cute Vic, but I can't help thinking pup on the right looks like a jedi more than a reindeer!

Small dogs usually act like a big dog more than big dogs do! Small dog syndrome :D

Teddy always tries to pick a fight with my EBT! Funnily enough Bully is a big daft softie who wouldn't hurt a fly :D

Agree with this. My two Yorkies that I lost were oblivious to their size and thought they were big dogs.
My Yorkie pups are only 4 month old and they act like the bigger dog when they see other dogs out walking. I've got two little guard dogs but they definitely won't fit in my handbag :)

That's cheeky Charlie :) I think he suits the reindeer one, they just can't see where they are going with the hoods up. I think I like the reindeer suit better than the santy one, it's different.

When I seen them yesterday I had to buy them - You started me off with the photo's. I think they are lovely little outfits and very fleecy and warm, they even have a leader hole in so I think they must be outdoor wear. Not that I'd take them outside in them! :D

Haha, now that might be considered very very wrong but to be honest when I went to ASDA last night I did look to see what they had in the childrens christmas outfit section to see if there was anything better - not that I would have bought one for the pups :D

The only thing stopping you buying one would probably be because they weren't small enough!!!

I still might sneak back to get Bully a reindeer outfit!!!!

He's already got the antlers!! ;)
