it is basically a website template, under UK law any uk business with a website must display a physical address and a privacy policy that complies with current legislation.
they state " We strictly adhere to the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003."
but they are not regsitered with the ICO so how can they adhere to it0 -

it does not mention struck off.
i recently paid companies house the £10+VAT to dissolve one of my company names as i no longer traded under that name as i changed business names but i never went bust. this happens daily
I'm not the one who needs to get my facts straight.

that is not what it states on the main page, so we are both correct using the links provided.0 -
I suppose that's an apology of sorts for telling me to "get my facts straight" when they were correct all the time.
As to using the link provided, I never linked to the main page. I simply stated the fact that according to companies house, Tool-hut had been disolved and struck off.0 -

and i bet thats not not submitting accounts as no accounts filled0 -
Do Nochex offer any buyer protection in the way that paypal do?
If they do then you should put in a claim as Tool-hut have had plenty of time to either deliver your goods and to reply to your e-mails.
If there is no protection then you should contact whichever card issuer you used to fund the payment and request a chargeback for the money.
Toolhut were only set up in march 2010 so their first set of accounts was only 8 months overdue when they were struck off.and i bet thats not not submitting accounts as no accounts filled
There are many other registered companies whose accounts are late well beyond 8 months and they continue trading.
As already mentioned by another responder or two, no address details, no reply to e-mails and no telephone contact number should give a good indicatin of how the company was being run.
They are far more likely to have been struck off for fraudulent activity than for simply having late accounts.0 -

if the card issuer allows such. As far as i'm aware Nochex work the same way as PayPal, making chargebacks all that more difficult0
