Hi i dont know if this is in the rights place,
hope you can help
i brought something from the web few weeks ago, website is live and still live, no item has arrived and no response from emails.
the website has no contact info attached so cant ring them.
i have been on companies house and it looks like the company has gone down, i could be wrong.
the main question is is it right that the website would still be live and taking orders if the company has gone under?
its a ltd company.
many thanks

this does not means the company had gone bust all this means that they have deregistered the limited company name, they could still trade as a sole trader.0 -
We would have to know the Company in question to know for sure if its folded and if its still trading online whilst folded.
By law, any company unable to provide items, would not be allowed to continue selling them.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

hi thankyou, website is https://www.tool-hut.com
through a domain search the registered address matches comany on companies house as dissolved.
i could be completely wrong on it all but not had any response to emails
wouldnt have thought you could trade online when dissolved and not supply/
thankyou0 -
Have you tried a WHOIS on the domain to get the details of the person/company who registered the domain? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0

in whois admin contact has an email and a telephone number.
also if you have a limited company their is nothing preventing you from dissolving the company name and still trade as a sole trader
looking at their site they are almost dropshipping.
also as a UK business then they must have their physical address displayed on their site0 -
No address shown on the website (illegal), no contact phone number and a returns policy not in line with current UK legislation. (also illegal).
This doesn't appear to be the case here. According to companies house, tool-hut has beenthis does not means the company had gone bust all this means that they have deregistered the limited company name, they could still trade as a sole trader.
08/11/2011 STRUCK OFF AND DISSOLVED0 -
As above - it does appear on Companies House to have been dissolved, it sounds very dodgy. If this is the case I would suggest you issue a chargeback from your bank.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
