Ok bit the bullet and spent £59 on 3 tops  before you all faint away one is a knee length knitted dress-come-jumper so I think £25 for that is a fair price, one had £10 off so only £15 and the other was £20. However I could have spent half that at Sainsbugs for jumpers that by next month look shabby and out of shape. So thank you H&M I may be falling back in love with your clothes a littleI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

We are having root veg stew with beans and dumplings for tea. OH's favourite brassic food.....
I have The Secret (and other books) to read courtesey of a kind person on these boards. I love a free read that's why I am always at the library.
The jumpers sound lovely.
Have a good evening all.

Been a while since I posted.
Hmmm seem to leaking money from everywhere last week or so. Need to get a handle on things.....also H  he spent £20 on Captain America blue ray DVD......for the kids <sigh>
Anyway tomorrow is food shopping day. I will be buying some booze for Christmas, a bottle of rum and a bottle of vodka, maybe a bottle or two of wine. The spirits will last probably 6 months at any ratemy days of getting sloshes are far, far behind me.
Will be writing my list shortly and I WILL only buy what's on the list. Need to replenish the chocolate coins I'd bought for the kids a month ago. Forgot about a couple of Christmas fayre bring a bottle/jar/chocolate days at school so used these instead to save further trips to the supermarket.
Have done ZERO baking but in my defence I wanted to use the Remoska but hadn't got any foil to cover the tops but this is now rectified
Will I buy some nice biscuits for Christmas or just make some? I am edging towards making, got some chocolate so I could make some of those posh biscuits like M and S sell where they are piped and the ends dipped in chocolate. One to be done when little persons aren't around though
Still have some shopping to complete. Am massively behind but can't really go shopping for DD with her actually in tow. Would like to preserve the magic for a bit longer :rotfl:

 Just had a fit at the state of of the house. Sick of spending all my bl00dy time picking up stuff and putting it away.
Have made a decision about some of the clutter. We have a bankers box of stuff overflowing with items I keep meaning to eBay. Only I am sick of either not selling on eBay or selling quality stuff for 99p. So that's it, am getting rid of most of it. It depresses me to see it, unmotivating to list it as I just think it won't sell. So off to the charity shop it goes. Ok I am potentially giving away money as it is stuff that could sell but quite frankly I am coming to the conclusion that eBay is not worth my time and effort for pennies. I'd rather do some craft and try and sell that
Sorry rant over, but there's being practical and trying to make some money and then there is my sanity:o
Need to tackle the rest of the house now........<pales at the thought>I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Bitsy - I've come to the conclusion that stuff is better just being got rid of if it isn't needed. I'm sure your charity shop will appreciate it, and if ebaying isn't working, then it's a sensible solution.
I've been doing the last bits of wrapping, and yet more shredding in order to get the live room back under control and find space for the christmas decorations. Shredding makes so much mess, but if I can get rid of the paperwork slowly it will help, and the shredded paper is good for lighting the fire with.0 -
I used to do loads of shredding but only now save it for top secret stuff :rotfl: everything else I tear off the private info, rip into tiny tiny pieces and bin it, the rest gets recycled. Massively cut down on my shredding needs
Well done on the wrapping, not even finished shopping yet:o

I've still got a few bits of shopping to do Bitsy, but I've made a real effort to use up stuff from the present drawer and then did most of the rest of the shopping online while on sick leave. I just need a small present for my dad and a couple more bits for OH and then I really am done. Although I should probably do a few emergency ones in case anyone visits unexpectedly in the next couple of weeks.
I really should be making chocs, Florentines and biscuits, but CBA. The decorations are still cluttering up the floor rather than being up.0 -
I don't even have a present drawer........:o
