Expired nowHi all, Newbie here, but follow this thread as much as I can when possible. I did not see anyone mentioniong this on here.
nicked from main grabbit page...original OP is misssaving queen. pls thank her if this is of use to you
'Asda George Glitch
George are currently offering free delivery (maybe today only) which deducts £2.95 on the basket page. However if you choose "Store Collection", you get the £2.95 off your order instead.
Choose Store Collection when on the basket page (in line with each item).
The discount should be shown on the card details page. '0 -
Cheers for the feedback about the emails folks have tried all of your suggestions so fingers X0

Well guys, finally my keyboard for the laptop has arrived... hopefully no more USB keyboard to contend with.
Wish me luck installing it... eldest said, but do you think you could replace it?!
Fingers crossed I can show him that his mum has got some wits about her! lol
Oh dear, be careful. Make sure you touch the copper pipe on a radiator to earth yourself before touching anything inside.
There are so many screws in the bottom of a laptop and you only need to remove certain ones to remove the cover, if you remove them all then all the bits in side will fall out when you lift the cover off. Ideally you want to remove the cover with the motherboard and other bits still attached to it.
Good luck...0 -

Well done HC ... I hope to be joining you soon. I was thinking of tryinig to limit my Net spend (after multiple buys, MOCs, JTDs, DTDs and whoopsies) to £5 per shop but not sure how manageable this would be.
I've never tried to set a NET spend I stocked up during the summer when coupons were on the go. My shopping would have been a little bit more expensive at the time compared to what it would have been. Now that I'm living on my 'stash' I only need to buy milk, bread, tatties, fresh veg etc but I do have lapses where I treat myself to stuff I don't need or fish suppers from the chippy.
It's only this month I've actually been able to tuck something away due to low credit card bills last month and this month. I managed to tuck £500 in to my savings account and I'm hoping to tuck half that away again next month.
Once again, I raise a glass to Mr T.
Oh, good morning all.0 -
HHHHHHEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPP.....:eek::mad:
I don't know whats been happening on here this morning as wanted to write this asap... but Morning everyone, or maybe by the time this is posted.... Good afternoon
Anyway, one day I love Mr T, next day I hate him..... actually today it's one hour I love him and the next I hate him.....
This is with regard to the cadburys halloween fingers....
I spoke to a friend last night who is the chairman of a local registered charity organising a fundraising kids party tomorrow, and asked if he wanted some boxes for the party.... yes it was necessary to ask first as the party is for kids with diabeteies 50of these going along, plus their siblings and parents.... he said yes, as long as they have the label on the packaging for the carbohydrate and sugar levels please get some, which obviosly they have to do.
Well we have 2 stores here in N a r...... ich.....
Went to 1ppy road first knowing they had some last night. I did (almost) clear the shelf, but it is for a good cause. Then at the checkout before attempting to purchace I explained the situation to the lovely lad there who is checkout supervisor.... he did check with one other person, but both said no problem, we don't have a problem with that. :T:T:T:T Thumbs up for 1ppy rd
To make sure we had enough, I headed up to BB spr0w5-ton, who had actually re-stocked the shelves since I was there earlier in the day yesterday!!!!.... as before, I politely asked the checkout supervisor and couldn't have got more of an opposite reaction! 'We can't sell them if they are going through at 1p'..... 'they shouldn't be on the shelf'..... 'how did you KNOW they were only a penny', (like I was some kind of criminal,) and when I replied 'coz I had brought a box last night', I got well you shouldn't have been sold them! And then I told them that I knew coz my sister got some in leicester that had been marked up as reduced stock. (Is this a lie?.... I would class lots of you out there as my cyber sisters, and i'm sure there is one or 2 of you in Leicester.) I do actually have a sister there, but she gets the glitches after I let her know they are there!!!!:o:D
Left the store non too happy and came home and called customer services..... the guy I got was actually none too helpful himself, but i'm now waiting for a call back.... wondered if there was anything more I could do??????
Some people have had success having a printed copy of this in their handbags and showing it to the trouts.
