It must be my lucky day, just got an email saying I had won the baileys cupcakes :T:T I believe someone else on here also won them.
Also went to the local village and bought an instant and won £20.
Wonder what the third will be....Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Well I got my last batch of 5 small Comforts for 25p yesterday afternoon but SA called Mgr who wasn't happy at all!
She scrutinised the small print saying she wasn't sure that Unilever was going to honour "all these" vouchers. I said I'd already used some last week then she questioned the fact that the bottle size didn't match the one in the advert and the ones I bought last week were the larger bottles!! she remembered me!! But little does she know that all in all I've managed to get 4 lots of 5 bottles ... not all for myself I have given 5 bottle away :A
Anyway, I then said the voucher didn't say anything about the bottle size and so reluctantly agreed to put them through
Def gonna have to lie low for a while.:o
Then last night I couldn't resist a quick visit to a local Express ... where I managed to get DTD with an OOD SEL offering 3 for 2 on Home Baking products. (3 jars of Mincemeat, 2 packs of Marizpan and 1 pack of Ready Icing). :j
However, the manager here only gave me the overcharge ... then when I asked about DTD he asked the SA how long had it been since I bought the items (she said 5 mins) then he reluctantly gave me overcharge again. I remembered him the last time I got a DTD here (Octoberish) ... he said that DTD only worked if I had left the shop and come back ... which I now make a point of doing
Doh! Gonna have to lie low here as well0 -

Reminds me of a job that I priced in some social housing flats (internal only) and had to wear a hard hat, hi vis etc, incase something fell on me and so that I was visable to all! Hmm biggest room was about 12 x 12! Tenants were cracking up - asking why was it safe for them to live there if we had to have all the H&S stuff on! Biggest rule in H&S is pure common sense. So much work can't be done as it can cost more for 'safe' access then getting the job done in the first place! Not intending to rock any boats, just my thought on the subject. Milk crate put away now!;)
Exactly! I had to wear a hard hat on the pipeline, I didn't see the point, if one of those pipes hit you on the head you were certain to be a gonner, hard hat or no hard hat.LadyLeenie wrote: »Looks like it will be a new thread soon,I like this one
