Hi everyone. Please be gentle with me as I am new here. Just a couple of questions, I have to shop online due to health reasons and as I have not quite grasped what this thread is about completely, I was wondering if the offers people are finding are available online when I do my grocery shopping, or do you have to go to the store and physically find them. Hope I dont sound stupid
(
Also is there anywhere where I can find what all the abbreviations mean ?
Thanks all.0 -

Hi andrews mum, welcome to the thread.
Quite a few of the things we find in store as they are usually RTC (reduced to clear) items like 1p finds. And we look out for OOD (out of date) SELs (Shelf Edge Labels) in store to hopefully get DTD (double the difference) back.
Sometimes we are lucky and there are some online glitches which usually get posted here so keep a look out I'm sure you might find something to help you, often non-related Ts (Tesco) things get thrown into our waffle.0 -

The poor lady. My heart goes out to her
She's the sweetest girl you will ever meet, absolutly georgous even with scars, its so sad, it'll be very hard for her to ever move on ! This happened about 5years agoIts crazy mo.ney.
My hubby had an accident at work fell over 30ft from a warehouse, he has a traumatic brain injury, and most of the compensation will be for loss of earnings and future care/support needs. To be honest whatever figure they come up with it will never be enough as money cant ever bring the old 'hubby' back
I just dont know what the right decision is ???
I know I seem like im moaning and I really shouldnt be but how do you turn down that kind of money when you are so skint you cant buy heating oil and kiddys wearing gloves in the house.
I agree that the lawyers know best, that is an awful thing to go through - god help you and your family ! Maybe a bit more waiting and you guys will be set up for the rest of your lives.Insurance company are playing bully boys atm, have stopped all funding for physio and rehab hoping we will accept the offer. Hopefully we can get an interim in the new year once the offer is rejected.
How mad is it you have to wait 25 years!! and 9 mil:eek:
DaisyDuck I mis read your previous post thought you friend had got 1.5 mil not 15 grand! That is just ridiculous! No money would compensate for a death but thats just an insult!
Play them at their own game ! Good luck to your family, and I really wish you the best xmas possible. And pray that next year you's will have an xmas of a life time0 -
HHHHHHEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPP.....:eek::mad:
I don't know whats been happening on here this morning as wanted to write this asap... but Morning everyone, or maybe by the time this is posted.... Good afternoon
Anyway, one day I love Mr T, next day I hate him..... actually today it's one hour I love him and the next I hate him.....
This is with regard to the cadburys halloween fingers....
I spoke to a friend last night who is the chairman of a local registered charity organising a fundraising kids party tomorrow, and asked if he wanted some boxes for the party.... yes it was necessary to ask first as the party is for kids with diabeteies 50of these going along, plus their siblings and parents.... he said yes, as long as they have the label on the packaging for the carbohydrate and sugar levels please get some, which obviosly they have to do.
Well we have 2 stores here in N a r...... ich.....
Went to 1ppy road first knowing they had some last night. I did (almost) clear the shelf, but it is for a good cause. Then at the checkout before attempting to purchace I explained the situation to the lovely lad there who is checkout supervisor.... he did check with one other person, but both said no problem, we don't have a problem with that. :T:T:T:T Thumbs up for 1ppy rd
To make sure we had enough, I headed up to BB spr0w5-ton, who had actually re-stocked the shelves since I was there earlier in the day yesterday!!!!.... as before, I politely asked the checkout supervisor and couldn't have got more of an opposite reaction! 'We can't sell them if they are going through at 1p'..... 'they shouldn't be on the shelf'..... 'how did you KNOW they were only a penny', (like I was some kind of criminal,) and when I replied 'coz I had brought a box last night', I got well you shouldn't have been sold them! And then I told them that I knew coz my sister got some in leicester that had been marked up as reduced stock. (Is this a lie?.... I would class lots of you out there as my cyber sisters, and i'm sure there is one or 2 of you in Leicester.) I do actually have a sister there, but she gets the glitches after I let her know they are there!!!!:o:D
Left the store non too happy and came home and called customer services..... the guy I got was actually none too helpful himself, but i'm now waiting for a call back.... wondered if there was anything more I could do??????
I'd have donned my best 'thickie' voice and gone 'hello....is there anyone in there, its a fortnight from xmas and these are HALLOWEEN fingers, why do YOU think they are 1p' and then waited for her response! :rotfl:0 -

Watch out for them sitting next to a £2.50 SEL like everywhere else i've seen them and STILL scanning at £10... that would be a nice little DTD! :j0 -
